A Place to Eat Ipswich

We visit the Ipswich store several times a week to visit the wonderful restaurant A Place To Eat The staff are very friendly the food is always good My husband and I are not big eaters and often have something to share Always comes out on separate plates already divided Love their brunch baps bacon or sausage however would be nice to be able to have the choice of having an egg in them

Another very satisfactory visit

I have often bought furniture carpets and curtains from Glasswells over the past 24 years or so and have never had any problems or a bad experience Yesterday I visited the bedroom department to order a mattress and was dealt with by a young man called Peter who was most helpful efficient and friendly as well as dealing patiently with all my questions I have always found it a pleasure to visit the store in Bury St Edmunds whether to buy something or to eat in the restaurant There is always plenty of parking space and the toilets in the store are superb I now look forward to the arrival of my new mattress

Good showroom helpful staff

I am a frequent online shopper but when recently looking for new sofas I really wanted to be able to sit on them first Glasswells were an obvious destination being local to me and having a good reputation The Ipswich showroom has a great choice of furniture and is well laid out While other furniture retailers we visited seemed to focus almost exclusively on the budget end of the market Glasswells had furniture with a wider range of prices in their showroom We found the staff helpful without being pushy and also knowledgeable about the products Their pricing is competitive and we were happy to place our order with Glasswells without feeling we had to look around further

New House New Furnishings

Following a house move resulting in current furniture being not suited to the size and shape of the new rooms we found it necessary to completely rethink our furnishings With so much to chose from we found this an extremely difficult task and in many ways confused ourselves by overthinking And then by chance we found Wendy or perhaps more to the point she found us Like a breath of fresh air she helped us with and through the rethinking process to the point where with audible sighs of relief we were able to place our order for the new furniture Having sorted the lounge and sitting rooms we shall now review our Dining room furniture Needless to say our first port of call will be Wendy

Carl was knowledgeable friendly patient We were in the bed department at the Glasswells Ipswich store for nearly 2 hours very satisfied with customer service

Simple replacement rug experience

Had selected a rug in store but on getting it home it was slightly too small Lovely team at Bury-St-E ordered the next size up and agreed I could return smaller rug once replacement was in Rug arrived in less than a week Aconna Blue rug is absolutely stunning now in place
