Absolutely disgusted with this company
Absolutely disgusted with this company lost 900 from our holiday deposit and after continually providing the information needed got told eventually that we were to get paid 11 42 compensation this company should be avoided at all costs The reply you give is wrong our insurance was in our names me and my wife I paid the total cost of the holiday as it s my family who come every year and I treat them to a holiday every year so tgg he s insurance should cover the whole amount I lost as I was the sole person who paid and all my kids do is turn up so you are wrong in your assumption that my kids have to claim when they don t have any money in the holiday to claim

Go elsewhere while you still can
Wanted to check the details of a quote what it covered etc tried to call at 9 30am but just kept ringing until it diverted to a voicemail asking to leave your no and they will get back to you left my details and 3 hours later no one had called back called again leaving my details again 4 hours later and still no one has called me back I also sent an email to there email listed on there website but no response from that either I would dread to think the hell you would be going through if you ever needed to make a claim from this insurer especially if you are abroad as the don t seem to respond to any calls or emails after this experience I would get insurance elsewhere if I was you

Go2travel insurance avoid
Our holiday got cancelled due to COVID it was a road trip so involved numerous accommodation booking car hire flights etc We sorted out everything ourselves other than the flights The company offered us vouchers which according to go2travel we have to accept and we have no right to insist on the cash back even though legally we have What use is 3000 in flight vouchers at this present time Since we did not use the travel insurance we contacted them to ask if they would provide vouchers or a refund we have yet to receive any communication Yes I know this is a busy time and everything is difficult but it is difficult for those of use who have our money tied up with various holiday companies Got to agree with the others avoid this company as if they reply to your emails it is clearly just standard generated replies rather than a reply to your question and god help you should you need help from them

Terrible insurance don t buy it
My son s car was broken in to while I was visiting him in London and my bag was stolen from it The bag contained my car keys and passport along with a tablet clothing and other items The car key cost 320 to replace The insurance would only pay out for items for which I had original receipts which was a tablet case worth 13 99 but the excess was 100 Who has a separate receipt for a car key when they buy a car

worst company I have ever dealt with
worst company I have ever dealt with they only replied once I got money supermarket involved and they managed to get me a response when I tried to make a claim they accused me of fraud to get me to back off I don t understand why they are allowed to operate and companies like this should be banned from operating I paid for something and got nothing in return please avoid this company spend a bit more and actually be insured my reply to your reply Dealt with in a timely manner This was 2020 and you are replying almost in 2023 This is what I mean about your company clearly your idea of timely is years rather than days which is what my idea of timely means You can push the blame onto whatever company you want but I bought the service from you and you found a way out of paying if your managed to find a loophole saying the insurance was invalid then you should have refunded me instantly Instead you took about 6 months to a year if I remember correctly Anyway the company is just a joke I have stopped buying travel insurance now from these cheap companies as it never works

IT SHOULDN T BE THIS FRUSTRATING
Its true that you only find out how good your insurance company is when you need to make a claim and as far as Go2 Travel are concerned I am not particularly impressed On the 12th January I registered my claim with them on-line and although I was given the option of completing an on-line claim form I opted for one to be sent through the post On the 19th January I rang to advise that I had not yet received the claim form and was advised that one would be sent out It took another week for it to be received In the meantime I had tried to complete the on-line claim form but found it very frustrating as the text in some of the fields kept moving out of alignment It is now the 12th February and when I rang them a couple of days ago I was advised that it could take up to a month before my claim was settled My claim was for the princely sum of 280 less excess waiver for the forced cancellation of my holiday due to medical reasons My husband s cancellation claim with a rival insurance company was settled and paid out within 48 hours I guess you can guess which insurance company I will be renewing with when my policy comes up for renewal As I said you only find out how good your insurance company is when you need to make a claim

Not Too Shabby
Bumpy start to my claim but once Mark Ross got involved it was plain sailing and excellent service Hopefully they may change how they work and how they help people abroad who need to make a claim Will definitely be using again

Very helpful and professional
My experience with Go2 Travel was very good They were helpful with changing dates and offering advice regarding cover My trip dates were moved twice and hopefully I ll be going on my holiday later this year I would definitely recommend this company
