Amazing

I have bought three miniatures from Hero Forge lately and am very impressed They aren t perfect but I ll be surprised if I buy a mass produced one again The first I bought was their premium Bronze figure All I can say is that it is beautiful and I got many a gasp of admiration from the team Saying that the person who packed the model let the side down as it did not have enough padding and the sword arrived with a distinct bend This was easily fixed but I was worried I would break it while doing so I have also bought a steel figure of my character on a horse The resolution is noticeably rougher but I am hoping some body putty the grey coating and care in painting will hide the layers It also has a distinct preference for surface rusting but the body putty has stopped this on the areas it has been applied On the other hand I could throw this at a Hob Goblin and the Hob Gob would lose It is solid as a rock and I love the weight of it Considering the cheaper price and more rugged construction I am happy to have to work a little harder to get the painting perfected The last one I got was their colour plastic This feels like a model you would buy from a shop and doesn t have the weight of the metal models BUT it is still pretty good It is very flexible and no parts were bent in transit and it has withstood a couple of games I do keep all the models very well padded in storage boxes and it is lasting just fine While I may be able to paint a model better than this eventually and I am saying months or years rather than weeks it is great to get this in colour out of the box It is pretty good and I reckon I can get future ones better if I spend more time choosing colours during the ordering stage The biggest let-down was UPS taking so long to deliver It is 2020 and all flights to Australia were affected so there s little that Hero Forge could do about the REALLY SLOW delivery The bright side was that a person from the Hero Forge support team did answer all emails and that was a nice surprise All in all I think these are great models at a good price Definitely more expensive then buying from a shop but they are my character doing and wearing exactly what my character does I am very happy with the purchases

I got a goblin mini a while back and I just love it to bits The color was so vibrant and the details even for such a small character were flawless I m love having here there on game days

Love love love this site The customization is what I ve been looking for forever It comes at a price but I m willing to pay for now They also give the option to download the 3D print file which made me grab a 3D printer

I LOVE HERO FORGE I use it all the time for myself and even started using it with my business partners How Because Hero Forge makes the most badass virtual character creator on the Internet we keep coming back every time we need to up-skill ourselves in some way We create characters that helps us visualize what we re trying to overcome what we re trying to learn what we want to embody etc Then we hold onto that image while we work using it as a reminder like a stage performer posting goals photos Hero Forge is amazing and I m emotionally invested in its success because it s the type of character generator I ve literally always dreamed of The amount of customization is bonkers and I love the community-added features I m excited to see what they do in the future Hero Forge is so much more than a miniature creator We use it to see ourselves creatively by regularly re-creating the Selves We Need to Become challenging ourselves to change and grow when we need to level up our real-life Might sound cheesy but Hero Forge has helped us do more than create cool visualizations for games--though of course it s great at that too It s helped us get through creative and skill-level blocks by creating motivational miniatures that inspire us to be the magical beings of our dreams Use it love it wash rinse repeat

To fragile don t buy Hero Forge Mini s

I ordered my first Hero Forge mini in July 2022 When it arrived I thought it looked great although the color was not as vibrant as I thought it was going to be I was also a little disappointed in the details on the face I was hoping for more detail there since I had several customization choices for the face during the design process In the end even with a magnifying glass there was not much detail in the face That said I loved the miniature upon arrival and it did look good After playing with it for a couple sessions the color seemed to get duller I realized I probably should have sprayed it with my Citadel varnish to preserve it a bit better Not something I thought I would need to do for a 60 miniature Over the life of the mini the color only faded a bit more so I was the only one that really noticed it At this point I was still very happy with the miniature Unfortunately that did not last A month after getting the miniature it fell off my gaming table onto my vinyl plank floor The sword broke off and was difficult to repair At this point I was extra diligent when using the miniature as I realized it was very fragile Unfortunately last weekend December 17 2022 it fell again onto the floor This time the glaive broke off the sword popped off again and both the legs snapped off the base I threw the miniature away and will not order from Hero Forge again In the end the miniature was just too fragile I can paint cheaper miniatures so they look decent and use them without worrying if it will break when used

Very disappointed

Will not be shopping for here again I spent 52 dollars on a cheaply made dull colored very very fragile piece Broke both my axes off in its first D D session from having a pen drop on it

Slow and Bad

Hero Forge took a year and a half after its Kickstarter was funded to finally roll out one of the features I had been waiting for - and it was crushingly disappointing A year prior when I had learned how long it would take for these features to become available I had requested a refund - and was told by their customer service essentially tough cookies So finally when I determined that the feature I had waited so long for was utter crap I completed my order and received a very unimpressive miniature that although 3D printed in color has a strange glitter effect all over it - even on areas that should have no shine Total waste of the 44 for an unimpressive plastic miniature with weird coloration
