This company was good when I first contacted a gentleman called Carl He was brilliant Was given the theory support and bookings done within days of paying for the full course Then we hit covid the company became shocking at their replying to myself I would have to send emails to all their email address they have from sales admin training Carl etc Finally I was given a date for my course it was brilliant Unfortunately due to reasons out of their or my control I didn t pass the test I paid the company another set of money for a 4 hour lesson and a re-test 4 months after that I was given a date I was told it was in one location so I went there and done hours and hours of driving speaking to the test centre to then go for my 4 hours with the school and be told it wasn t ever booked at that location for the test and it actually was at the place I wanted it at originally Which was a bonus for me but also a pain as I was lied to by this company as to where I was doing my training They take days and days to reply to emails phone answers are a shock if they ever answer Unfortunately they are only in it for the money I asked about doing ADR only class 3 with them they wanted 999 where there school who was going to run it wanted only 310 I ended up booking direct with another company where it was 600 for all classes This company is good at the start if you want to do your training in a show manor But shocking if you want to do it like me Swift and fast Overall I do not recommend this company Please go direct to the schools and do not use a broker like this company

Genuine points I have successfully now passed my class 1 license and just wanted to give feedback on my experience The cost 3700 this was to get the whole process done in a aprox 3 month period with an agency linked that I was told will have a job ready as a class 1 hgv driver and a option on shifts and help provided to secure a job 1 Filling in my own dvla paperwork I ve just paid this money and now I m completing the forms my self even tho I ve passed all the information across the medical I also had to pay for and book my self I don t think I should be told taking care of everything and then basically I m doing it myself 2 theory test booked and local to me by the back offfice team kept me posted and I can t grumble 3 I then had my practical sessions which where an hour from my home when I m told there s one just up the road and then told that s fully booked you can wait for that one if you want not great and felt a little mugged off lucky the centre I went to was great and worked the time round me however I feel being told yes local centres and then once I m ready being told sorry you have to go somewhere else is not great just be up front about availability 4 the insurance every follow up call made to me was just to sell the cover if you fail you can pay 450 more for a re book it was pushed hard in my opinion I had no explanation to how and why this shouldn t just be a rebook at the cost of a re-sit I was told the company pay for slots in the end as I challenged the reason why I should pay this I ended up doing it as as others seemed to on the course however I looked at availability and saw I m retest was no longer than the dvla date so I do feel a little deceived I think in the situation of you being challenged about something you are clearly selling as smoke and mirrors then maybe pull back 5 I m at the pass stage I ve got 2 interviews lined up however not through the driving school the guaranteed job I was told well it s temp work and I was told by the linked agency no you won t get hgv 1 work probably not even hgv 2 we can start you in a van I was thinking is this a joke I ve done more off my own back and I m having to send and complete more papers work for this company to line me up with temp work in a van Very disappointing I would like to hear back from you even listen to phone calls as I don t feel the money I paid is on point with the what I was told very disappointing tbh

TLDR While they did help me qualified I don t feel like I got good value for money Please do your research and look into booking things yourself You ll thank both me and yourself later The main problem I had when using their services was never receiving their welcome pack despite asking for it several times Please note that this included all the relevant forms that I would need to send off to get my provisional licence This went on for nearly 3 weeks before I got sick of asking and just sourced the forms myself At this point I didn t even bother asking them for help in filling the forms out I just looked for a guide on YouTube instead If I was still eligible for a full refund at this point I would ve taken it and gone elsewhere However since they had kept stringing me along with promises of we ll get it sent out again 1st class Sorry for the inconvenience Etc I would ve lost 70 of the total cost had I asked for a refund at this point this would ve set me back about 2500 Whilst they make it sound like they will work with you to find you a job after your qualified so far my experience has been wildly different After asking for help from their recruitment team all I have received is an email with a slightly reformatted CV and 2 links to jobs on indeed com 1 of which was broken Obviously this seems insubstantial for someone completely new to the industry The only reason that I didn t rate this as a 1 star review is that the people in the training booking department were extremely prompt Whenever I had a test I was contacted via email by one of their team before the end of the day asking me for the results This was followed by a date availability offer a few days after my reply for the next part of my training They were hands down the best part of my experience with this company and they did what I consider should be standard for any communication with any businessPlease save yourself the trouble and do some more research to just book things yourself

I ve been waiting 12 months for this company to provide me with practical HGV driving experience - they are quick enough to take your money but the same cannot be said about delivering the required training

Buyer beware Having spent a fair amount with them I was sent to a driving school run out of a breakers yard I then find that it would be roughly half of what they charged to have done it direct with the school I paid for the insurance as I was told to get a rebook would be very difficult and could take weeks Not true Spoke to both James and Carl who told me that having passed I would be in work pretty much straight away Especially since they had access to a great agency Again not true The agency eventually got back in touch but with no work and haven t been in touch since Also all class 1 work requires at least 12 month experience Something that was not mentioned when I signed up Go direct to a school You will get much better bang for your buck

Phoning them up is easy and getting started is easy passed everything first time so pleased about that my problem is ithar it seems to be all one way after they get your monry after care when you want to start work very poor and they only seem to want mire money off you even after passing

Very disappointed especially with the lack of communication I am a 20 year old girl and was getting my C1 license with this company The sheer lack of communication after failing the reverse manoeuvre and enquiring about a retest has been appalling I got told it would be 250 to retake Waited till my birthday so I d have enough to pay this then called asking to book it in and the short phone call ended with me being told it would be near enough 1k on top of the 1 5k I had already paid a couple months previous to do part 3a 3b as I was getting upset and said I couldn t afford to do that the gentleman said he would call me back and see what he could do I never received a call or even email back I am very disappointed with how I was treated and being a 20 year old funding this herself I thought they would have at least explained things a bit better to me throughout every step of the process as I made it clear from the start I haven t got a clue how these things work After feeling taken advantage of I have since gone to a different company

I always wanted to be a HGV driver so I was really excited to begin the process after saving up my money I believe I was too eager in my pursuit and did not fully do my research If I was to start again I would not use an online company to essentially be the middle-man I feel I paid far too much money compared to what I would have paid if I was to arrange book things myself HGVT initially was very attentive to my questions and as soon as the money transferred I feel things changed Attitudes changed contacts changed staff were unsure of my progress before contacting me I used this company because they were the first to appear on my online search I wish I contacted a training provider directly who I believe could have saved me money

A very unpleasant experience with them I wanted to give up not going any further with them but they didn t want to end the practice with me after I failed the driving test I was forced to continue with them and pay 499 for an hour s practice and test drive
