Damp Course Work - I used check a trade and out of the number of companies I contacted this company was the only one to actual come out check what the issue was and provide a full quotation The other company just wants images via what s app and just provide a figure for the job The surveyor Bob was very professional did a full check and provided me clear options and prices The work itself was completed today and I am happy with the outcome and workmanship The only feedback I would give is their was slightly lack of communication They cancelled the job dates twice and on the 2nd cancellation we had to call them to find out what was going on I also provided them additional contact details for relatives as I was at work and could not answer my phone but these details were not passed onto the driver when they came out today overall I would recommend them to anyone who need a damp course doing on the house

The guys that came out to do the job were very helpful thorough took pride in the job and communicated well throughout The outside paintwork looks really good and the only reason I haven t awarded 5 is because it s early days and I would want to ensure the paint weathers well I would definitely recommend the workmen who came out to us as they were very professioinal

Whole experience was far better than I had feared given that we were having the damp course treated for the whole house From survey to completion there were no complaints Only wrinkle was that we had been told that the job would only take 1 day and booked it on a Friday accordingly Job ran over to the Monday which is why I don t give 5 stars Special mention to Craig and Paul who were excellent Kept mess down to a minimum were very conscientious in their work and kept us informed on progress throughout

My over riding comment is communication It was always possible to get a quick and personal response either on the phone or by email The free survey was arranged quickly and the surveyor was friendly and knowledgeable There was a minor hiccup when installation had to be cancelled the day before the arranged date due to the electrician having a family emergency but they kept in touch and rearranged promptly The electrician who came was friendly professional and tidy staying late to get the job finished when things took a bit longer than expected I was initially a bit disappointed with after sales service thinking that communication had dried up after I paid the invoice but still had some practical questions However they came good and prepared some video materials specifically for me to answer my questions And most importantly within a couple of days of having the work done it was obvious that the house is much drier than it was before no more condensation running down the windows on cold winter mornings Very happy
