Tough experience Vanity looked fine upon delivery- we immediately pulled the packaging away and checked it as instructed Unfortunately the vanity was not to be installed for 5 days so we did not LIFT it off the shipping base - who would it was in the garage taking up the open floor space Day 5 for installation lifting off the base caused a loud creak and a stress fracture pulled open the side support It had obviously been dropped during shipping and once moved off the support of the shipping base the compromised structure couldn t hold square - large crack and the entire piece went off kilter just enough so a drawer stuck SO I emailed Homethangs who said would reach out to manufacturer who shipped it Told me there is a 48 hour strict limit to reporting damage based on supposedly the manufacturer but when I called the manufacturer they said it was the shipping company policy Two weeks went by with no resolution On the 12th day I emailed Homethangs and he reached out to see if James Martin was on it They responded that they had JUST lol heard back from the shipping company and the answer was no - its strict 48 hour policy So after explaining I had what was I now know is called concealed damage discovered after 5 days neither Homethangs nor James Martin Vanities would help me both telling me that the 48 hour limit is solid J M blaming the shipping company OK - I called the shipping company who said that there is NOT a 48 hour policy on their part and they helped me by getting the relevant numbers and filing a claim for me I received a check to reimburse me for the ruined vanity with no problem - as of course it was insured by the manufacturer upon shipping No matter what they would like to say about it and their 48 hour policy I checked as was told to do and could not have discovered this damage until the 5th day when the contractor lifted it The shipping company listened and understood and worked with me I know Homethings was constricted by James Martin but their best advice was to call a furniture repair person to fix it I did try that and he said it would never be the same The fact that the shipping company which caused the damage was so easy to work with and the people who got my money for selling me the vanity made NO effort to help on a vanity that was delivered with concealed damage and a simple claim solution to reimburse me is just POOR POOR POOR Buyer beware - they are in the selling business not the customer service business The problem was easy to resolve - and would have been easier for them than for me as I didn t have the shipping bill and insurance numbers from the manufacturer They just didn t care - they had my

Worst service ever and no delivery
Ordered a table from this company on 8 9 21 Received a call from the delivery company to schedule delivery and they would only give me a window of time from 8-6 30 pm to receive the item I told them it was an empty building so I d need a shorter window of time so I could be available to sign for delivery They told me they would have the driver contact me an hour before delivery No one ever contacted me then I get a call from the driver saying they were there I told them I would head there but would be about 20-30 mins before arrival Also called in to their dispatch team to confirm this Got there and no delivery driver Got an email at 3pm with a tracking link saying the delivery was attempted at 7 24 pm which hadn t even occurred yet in the day and there would be a 94 charge for attempted delivery Wanted me to reschedule the delivery and I told them if they can t give me a shorter window the same issue would happen again The customer service rep screamed at me and hung up the phone Still haven t received item or refund Stay away

Customer service won t help you get your delivery They say here is the trucking number call them Over 3 weeks still waiting for my delivery and 4 delivery dates later still no vanity

I ordered a sink bowl for a bathroom
never answer the phone or return messages when you call customer service during business hours ait rings at someones home Then after hours it says leave a message but they are not returned I think they may be out of business

This company is unscrupulous at best
I ordered a sink bowl for a bathroom The site said the item was in stock When I went to check out the site declined a credit card that I use all the time and have never had any issues with before So I purchased the item with another credit card with no issues Several days later HomeThangs contacted me to cancel my order saying that the item was not is stock Not sure if this is even a real company really poor handling of the entire process I would avoid wasting time with this company

answer your customer service phone line
This company is unscrupulous at best They advertise a price and then do not honor it and cancel the order after realizing the price elsewhere has gone up They claim the manufacturer is out of stock but if you check with the manufacturer that is not the case In fact they will raise the price the next day and keep it posted on their website The bigger problem is if you are in a time crunch they lose you valuable time because they will not tell you they have canceled your order for 4 days Scumbags in my opinion

HomeThangs has a large selection of tiles and is one of a very few retailers to carry Soci Aparici tiles Tile prices were the same or lower than other retailers and the service was outstanding I ve been working with HomeThangs Paul Levin for some time to select and purchase tile for a bathroom renovation At the beginning it seemed that every tile I liked turned out to be discontinued -- Paul suggested alternatives and sent samples until I finally found the perfect tiles Soci Grunge Grey White Fizz and Decor Paul made sure the tiles I picked were appropriate for use in a shower area and shepherded my eventual order through delivery -- he also warned me of possible stocking problems so I d be sure to have the tiles on hand when they were needed He was exceptionally patient I am not an easy client and my project ran into several unanticipated delays thorough professional and a pleasure to work with I was given a timeframe for delivery followed by a call en route with a more precise arrival time Despite really terrible weather delivery went off without a hitch All in all HomeThangs has exceeded my expectations and has earned my 5 star rating

I dont buy that much online so didnt know who to trust Homethangs had the best price so I took a chance Boy did that pay off Ordered a vanity and it came in 4 days no issues what so ever Will be back when I m ready to remodel 2nd bathroom

Love my new bedroom set
Love my new bedroom set I called customer service and they offered me e tra discount since I was buying a set it was a nice surprise I ll definitely shop here again for more furniture
