"1st- the products were TRASH"

1st- the products were TRASH 2nd they stole 978 from my account So if you re wanting crappy products and unauthorized transactions from your card every other day then definitively use Ipsy OH And I forgot to mention they DIDNT refund me not one cent They said it was a bank issue when INDEED it wasn t Do yourself a favor and DONT subscribe to Ipsy

"Unbelievably deceptive marketing"

Unbelievably deceptive marketing They hide terms and hidden fees I buy an eyeshadow and suddenly I m charged for a 65 mystery subscription bag Never once did I sign up for that months ago they send random samples and later charge for them You can t lie and bully customers into purchasing items they didn t ask for Then you can t even dispute it the site is impossible to navigate and they intentionally do that so you give up and they keep your money RUN

"Predatory Practices and fraudulent use of your CC"

I ve tried cancelling this for a YEAR I ve had to change my banking account 3x and file chargebacks The site does not give you an option to cancel forever they only will let you cancel for 3 months and I ve been informed by the bank that they subscribe to a list they get from Visa Mastercard that will update your NEW information so they can keep charging you Not only that they don t even send the PRODUCT out once they ve gotten your new bank info by stealth THEY ARE PREDATORY AND NEED TO BE PROSECUTED

"Missing box impersonal response"

Missing box I received an email saying a label was created for my box then nothing I repeatedly check tracking and nothing I reach out on the first of the following month and am asked same questions info at least twice I m sorry but how do you not know my order number Then I get insincere and canned response e g At this time we re working diligently to finalize the inventory availability for the November box Really It s already December You don t have computers tracking inventory Please treat your subscribers like intelligent women Please offer a sincere apology When there s a honest mistake honesty and personal responses go a long way

"EMAIL SCAM MANIUPLATED INTO BUYING"

I used to order Ipsy a long time ago They always send me spam emails I clicked on one of the emails today and it instantly charged me for a new membership The delivery address is to my old house and the card it charged became over drafted They use extremely manipulative UI and purposefully try to trick people into purchasing their product Even when I went through their chat bot to request a refund they kept switching the chat button with a button that said nevermind so I kept accidentally cancelling my request like 5 times Disgusting company who s developers obviously have no morals

"Predatory business practices"

Everything was fine as long as they kept sending me monthly reminders that my account was going to resume since I would pause every month since reactivating The promotional photos would always show better products than the junk they would send you This month I received no email that my account was going to un-pause and got charged for another bag of junk Customer service maintains I must have received the email and to check all my folders I know some companies are getting desperate to achieve their profits but this is ridiculous Account cancelled and warning others now to be aware of their business practices

"Bags consistently never arrive"

From the looks of it I m not the only one who is unhappy with this company I have been getting their bags for about eight months and five of those months the bag was lost in shipping and never even made it to USPS When it doesn t show up they usually make you wait two weeks before they believe it s actually lost and then they send you whatever they have leftover because the stuff you thought you were getting is out of stock The level of incompetence is utterly mind blowing I am mad at myself for sticking with them this long Boxycharm was always reliable and now they re with Ipsy which is disappointing

I cancelled my order well over a year ago and suddenly got charged 31 71 for something I did not order and have been unable to speak to a person I did not authorize this payment and I need money back ASAP

"Missing box"

I didn t receive any tracking information for May was unavailable Didn t receive my box and in Canada they are pricy Tried going on their site to issue a complaint that I didn t receive the box that cost approximately 45 Got only an option to speak with the bot that was ABSOLUTELY USELESS with no email option Wanting a reimbursement replacement or cancelling it subscription Not impressed with the service or ability to contact the company

"I believe they are scamming me"

I believe they are scamming me They advertise products that are out-of-stock charge my credit card and never send the falsely advertised products They give a million excuses yet never send the products I paid for I ve also received expired creams serums and makeup which should be illegal
