"Christmas magic"

I have had the latest calendar every year and sent it to family and friends since way back when it was the Edwardian Country House which I think was the first Every year it is magical and this year s is even more wonderful I am loving it and so do the children of all ages that I ve sent it to Works beautifully on my iPad and PC and the music as always is stunning Well done all at JL

"I downloaded a gift calendar on Dec 1"

I downloaded a gift calendar on Dec 1 but since then it won t open on my PC android phone or iPad I get a message that they have no record of a calendar for my email - even though this is the address they wrote to to inform me about my gift I have written three times to the help people and have received no response at all

The London Advent Calendar has a wonderful new snowflake innovation - yes you do change it on the pillow - but then watch the snowflake you created fall in the main scene as one of a number of snowflake designs It s magic

"It s brilliant and I love it "

I really can t understand why there are all these negative comments I ve sent this calendar to quite a few of my friends and use it every day on my iPad and so far it s the best one yet It s super simple to download and activate and everything works seamlessly There are more puzzles and things to do this year and I rate it 5 sold stars I honestly think that some people blame the company when things don t work when actually an issue at their end i e the user

"RUSSIAN NO NO s "

Nearly two decades of membership I love the cards especially the ones with games for younger ones and the oldies sometimes actually I use the birthday cards as backups to the ones I send by snailmail Just a point though Looking at New Year Cards I rather liked the Around the World one However with the present situation I don t think I can send a card with Russian wording and drawings as part of it It doesn t feel right and I think it should be withdrawn for this year at least I know I won t get a reply as since the original owners sold out the personal touch has gone But maybe they might read this Who knows

"Best yet "

I stand cap in hand and very much corrected As the set up instructions did not come across clearly to me nothing worked I interpreted the pop up signs offering purchase meaning you had to pay again to make the calendar work but I am assuming that it is there for people that have access to the calendar but have not actually bought it yet So now having signed in everything is working well and I might add probably the best Advent to date You can see that a lot of hard work has gone into it Sincere apologies for my scathing remarks and well done for creating such a full and in interesting calendar Maybe some much clearer instructions in the future I have been a fan of Jacquie Lawson cards since conception however this last couple of years I have watched greed raising its head 2020 price went up astronomically and in principle I reluctantly declined the special annual treat for my Grandchildren This year the price went back to reasonable so re joined only to discover that there is a hidden charge for the animations

"The 2022 Sussex advent calendar is absolutely cracker "

This year s advent calendar is superb I ve bought or have had purchased for me these advent calendars for the last four years The 2021 version was a touch disappointing with very limited interactive activities to enjoy and just videos each day in their place However this year s version is the best I have experienced by far there are a wide range of interactive things to enjoy such as designing or decorating Christmas trees snowflakes snowmen and gingerbread houses gifts to wrap and bird cookies to make There are some nice touches too such as the daily elves to find the playful toys in the toyshop and in the home in the village plus the kid in the ice castle who lobs a snowball at your screen There are several jigsaw puzzles and lots of varied games The artwork as ever is exceptional While the price has gone up this year it s still reasonable for the work that has gone into creating this year s calendar and the pleasure it gives Unlike others I ve not had any difficulties downloading and installing it on two devices It s great that the Jacqui Lawson team have listened to feedback from the last couple of years and have really cranked up the number of interactive daily activities and little touches Great stuff - and long may it continue

"Advent Calendar The Magic is Back"

This is a belated review of the 2022 Advent Calendar which my friend and I just adored For those who were disappointed in a couple of advent calendars 2020 and 2021 well I totally feel your pain but I ve got to tell you Jacquie Lawson got their act together and 2022 was just great They had all kinds of activities again they had lovely surprises in the cottage -- it was awesome and engaging and magical I and my best friend were among those who thought they d lost their way in 2020 and 2021 and I complained about it in a review on here but apparently they settled into their new software platforms and they brought back all kinds of activities and interactivity and made it fun and charming again We actually thought 2022 was one of their best ever and we ve been buying for quite a few years so we have a lot to compare to So this review is addressed to people who thought 2019 was the last good Advent Calendar and who gave up on the whole thing -- my best friend and I felt exactly the same but we gave 2022 a try and we were delighted And for people who don t like the price increase I have to say they re putting so much in now with such good graphics quality that it doesn t surprise me they have to charge more But in 2022 my friend and I felt it was 100 worth it We ll definitely order again in 2023
