Terrible administration harassing me with collection agents for years
John Reed have a serious administration issue eg they didn t register payments I made and sent collection agents after me for years following this despite my having bank receipts showing that I ve paid them This has been a really mentally tough experience making me feel powerless and bullied as there is little more I can do than keep repeating that I did pay them plus show bank receipts Quite an unbelievable experience that nobody around me can believe is real I seriously do not recommend you go near this gym

The gym itself is good but as many others have said the customer service is appalling It literally takes a week for someone to respond and when they do it s some generic e mail rather than actually answering the question which then takes another week The showers have been broken for months and there is no news or updates any more i mean how can you use a gym without a shower You d be better off using a budget gym and it s nowhere near the high end gyms in London Avoid

Worst customer service I have experienced The Liverpool street showers have been out of action now for 6 months Every time I email to ask for an update takes them 10 days to get back to me Repeatedly offer to discounts that are not applied I ve tried to cancel the membership but nobody ever acknowledges my request Definitely not worth the money better stick to a gym you can trust

Do not Recommend this Gym I was on an accident a few months ago and ended up on a wheelchair Of course I needed to cancel my subscription The agent that took my case Angelina 20th of November 2023 at 14 55 pm Berlin Time literally discriminated me she closed the chat without answers I ve never been treated like that super rude and unprofessional These things need to be call out Clearly do NOT recommend this

Do Not Use this gym Never sign up I made the mistake of trying this Gym a few months ago they ve not had working showers from August 2023 through to December 2023 Yeah they still want to take a monthly payment no direct debit no standing order just your card details which they try various techniques to continue charging you despite the fact they don t have facilities to clean yourself Their business practices are substandard as are their facilities there are far better gyms in the city than this place

Indifferent attitude toward customers
Horrible I tried to buy a personal training package at the Santa Monica location and getting the first appointment with a trainer was such a nightmare that I am now shopping around for a different gym The assistant manager Taylor scheduled me with a trainer but when I showed up my appointment was not on the books and the trainer was not available The manager who was on duty was Albert and I tried to ask him about rescheduling but he couldn t be bothered to help me despite the fact that he seemed to be just hanging out in the lounge area texting on his phone Rarely have I seen such an indifferent and uncaring attitude from staff at a gym

Be careful with this gym I signed up for a free trial and they have been trying to take money from my account ever since I ve been calling and asking for this issue to be resolved and no one answered Avoid this gym at all costs

worse experience I had with a gym very rude people work in the reception I tried to make a membership for a year after I had a month test they ask u to pay for another activation big amount of money when I asked why they said we don t know u just have to pay than I used a credit card of a friend while I m with him on the phone line to make the payment and they just told me u can t and kicked me out of the gym when Ive been a member before The manager came and told the receptionist to not let me in so if u don t have a credit card u are not welcome on this gym because they won t be able to steal your money be carful guys not to get scammed they just swipe your card if u don t determine the contract yearly contract can t be determine so u will pay anyway
