Skammed

I was not happy that I still had over 300 days of my Kaspersky Total Security still running until March 2023 but I could not download after a lock up on this computer and had to download Kaspersky Plus to get protected again

Great Product

I really like the product from Kaspersky and have purchased it for quite a few years but for some reason I alway have trouble with locating the download and installing it I am fairly confident using a computer but always seem to have this issue

It was disappointing to discover

It was disappointing to discover Kaspersky have not designed a patch to allow my legacy iMac to be protected My 2009 iMac is still a brilliant machine with excellent graphics and now with a 1TB SSHD goes like a rocket That will mean I will have to look elsewhere - shame about that otherwise Kaspersky has been excellent

New Software Failures

After many years of using Kaspersky Security I am thinking of leaving or downgrading It tells me every so often that a drive is about to fail yet all diagnostics tell me it is very good I have free VPN with my new purchase Kaspersky Pus Well I would have if it worked It remains switched off until I activate it only for it to switch off again within a short time It was one of the reasons I bought the Plus version Kaspersk y in spite of loads of emails and diagnostics have failed to address the issues

activation codes

A while ago if you put an activation in the system it would automatically start at the end of your present system Now it it is so awkward to do you can put an activation code in but nothing happens You have to completely uninstall your old system and then download your new system I don t know if it is due to the new download but I am getting lots of ads As a result I am not happy with Kaspersky at the present time

REPEAT SUBSCRIPTION NIGHTMARE

I purchased a new licence for my expiring internet security package That was easy from Ebay The hard part was inputting the new licence into the Kaspersky system at one point I was going to abandon it and go with a different supplier It was so confusing In the end I discovered the only way to do it was a fresh install The product may be good but getting there was a nightmare very poor FAQ s needs someone to redesign with simple folk like me in mind

I feel I am paying twice for the same

I feel I am paying twice for the same items I upgraded the VPN but then a couple of weeks later my yearly subscription came saying I already had it There should be some control in place so this cannot happen My VPN wasn t working until I upgraded to Premium version from the free one but now I realise it should have been working already as I was paying for it in my yearly subs Also my sub wasn t due until 27th Nov but was taken on 4th so now I think I may have 2 of those running too with different dates

It took three tries to renew my protection Part of the problem it was some weeks ago was that it was hard to fill in the right information in the right places - and part was that the people on the helpline did not speak very good English On the third occasion I found a sensible woman who said Why don t you just buy a completely new protection instead of renewing your existing one Thankfully this worked

Thought I d try something different for a change when renewal time came up having used Zonealarm Extreme for years Yes it works ok but one big annoyance has surfaced One thing I do like is software that just works in the background only notifying me if something is truly amiss Unfortunately although I have all the notification settings set to OFF yesterday I was reminded yet again about using VPN And today how to clean up my computer It s trash info Totally unasked for When I have notifications set to OFF I expect exactly that This software will be going in the bin I see Zonealarm are doing big discounts I ll be paying the extra for a quiet uninterrupted life

I have been using Kaspersky total

I have been using Kaspersky total security and vpn for a few years recently the vpn blocks the total security updates after spending some time researching why updates failed i disconnected vpn and updates started running also blocks downloads have to close vpn for downloading torrents which was one reason why i purchased in the first place wont be renewing
