Jennifer managed to get herself into a dispute with neighbours over parking As a result she wrote in her report that the neighbours were aggressive and that parking conflicts were commonplace When challenged that her one-off personal experience did not really belong in a property survey she became very defensive and went to great lengths to say that she was duty bound to report any such problems Interestingly the altercation did not even take place in the immediate vicinity of the property being surveyed but rather in a neighbouring street The tone of her responses to me were rather aggressive and very defensive She also pointed out in no uncertain terms that I would be in breach of contract if I were to share her comments with anyone other than my legal representative Looking at another review it would appear that there may be a pattern to her behaviour

Only gave 1 star as no option to give 0 Jenny was surveying my neighbours property and asked if she could look in my drains She was quite rude and abrupt telling me I had a blockage and did I not know a few days later my mum visited stepped on the drain cover and fell through it grazed all her leg I rang with the hope they would repair the cover and was told I was lying and that what did she have a broken leg now never had intention of claiming against her just wanted it made safe Rudest woman I have ever come across

The lady who came round was ok although on her report she got quite a few things wrong Probably because she only took pictures with her I pad and thought that was enough

Jennifer was very helpful advising me on various aspects of the rooms and layout I asked if the appliances had been tested and she advised I have the electrics tested in the garage as one plug point had been taped

They were quick to write us a personal email providing cost and availability Fairly quick to get the survey done and the survey itself was really thorough Glad we went with then - would recommend

It was easy to book the survey which was carried out as arranged The report was back within two day Jennifer wrote a thorough clear and detailed report which identified a few issues that I got checked out The only disappointment was not having the garage checked out because there wasn t a key on the key chain but there was one in the kitchen A call to the estate agent would have identified where it was Sadly there are a few issues in the garage Apart from that I ve given 4 stars but it would have been five

I chose lotus after seeing my sisters survey it wasn t the cheapest but it was fairly priced and competitive with other firms What makes it a decision you won t regret is seeing the quality of the report pictures advice detailed and comprehensive I would recommend this firm with ease

It is refreshing to find companies like Lotus Surveyors really do exist From start to finish they have been brilliant Both Graham and Jennifer are efficient and dedicated to providing a great service for clients The report is thorough and includes photographic evidence where needed They may actually have saved us a fortune and prevented us from buying a money pit

From the beginning Lotus Surveyors took their time making sure to explain everything and that we understood which for us as first time buyers was amazing From the first phone call when we called to get a quote to recieving our survey report the day after they viewed our potential property Jennifer and Graham were fantastic 100 would recommend to anyone and would definitely use again if needed in the future

It s always a worry to put your trust in a company you have never dealt with before but I can honestly say that I would have no hesitation in recommending Lotus Surveying Ltd Not only was the level 2 survey report extremely thorough but it was received in a very timely manner and it answered all of my queries and more besides
