Terrible communication

Terrible communication we had confirmed a viewing and waited 20 mins but nobody showed up Went to the office to ask and turns out Sophie had given the appointment to a colleague who left basically on the dot of the appointed time without anyone calling or emailing us we had tried to call and also emailed saying we were on the way and were 5 mins late but of course there was no response

Very irresponsible

We are very unhappy We are a family with a new born child For 48 days the heating equipment of the house has been cut off and unfortunately they did not take any action Their service is only for setting up the contract and we are very dissatisfied after no response In general they have no benefit for others they only care about their own benefit

I wrote yesterday to see a house in Muswell Hill They sent me an e-mail saying they re making an appointment for the 13 00 Hours passed but they did not send a confirmation email I emailed again and asked if I could see the house at 1 00 The person who was interested said that there was a conflict in her agenda and that she could give me an appointment at 13 30 I told them ok Two hours before I was due to leave the house they called me and said they hadn t received the key from the landlord There is no key how do you make an appointment They are not professional at all I will not look for a house through them and I do not recommend it to you either

They are so unprofessional

They are so unprofessional We had a property viewing twice and both of the times we didn t see the property because they dont communicate with the landlord or they email you before the viewing that the property is not available anymore They wasted my time and my money and they don t care they find excuses every time

So Martyn Gerrard estate agents decided whilst paying the rent that s owed on the 18th of every month Decided that it was ok to not pay the rent on the 18th and they with sort it out the following week The accounts team apparently went home

Very disappointed

I tried to book view for 2 bedroom property Call them and a lady said that she will call me back she never did I sent more enquiries and then a gentleman contacted and asked our details income etc I replied asap but never heard back from him Another 3rd person gave me his WhatsApp number I sent all informations what he needed and then he said that there is NO AVAILABLE PROPERTIES for me Im not looking for a castle just a 2 bedroom property and they have more then 450 properties on the website but nothing available for me- they said not available 2 bedroom flat I guess if my nationality is different and I have more income then they will find properties for me as well Very disappointed terrible customer service

Warning This agency took our holding deposit and we have explain to them about poor credit history but we have guarantor and they said don t worry quick to take signs on all sort of documents through online portals only to call us 20min later that credit check failed and we can t take guarantor and our deposit can t be return Very very careful Im very sad they waisted my time and lost my money to them

A company of crooks Completely dishonest They are charging ridiculous fees without informing you in advance and rely on small print Stay away and do not let your houses through them We are experienced landlords and they have messed us twice before

We put our house in whetstone on the market last year After getting a few valuations i was thinking about using martyn gerrard however the agent did not like the price i was lookibg for and basically ghosted me This was a real shame as i have dealt with this agent before when phillip thompson worked in finchley central they should not act like this Disappointing as i think they have gone down hill since the old man had died

Horrible experience dealing with Jay Y

Jay Yildirim from Martyn Gerrard Estate Agents was not good at negotiating the offer we made for a house we were interested in He never met us in person even after having had a few viewings and having made a serious offer He always spoke for the seller without actually getting back to them and asking for their real opinion and thoughts which created a big mess It was horrible and we eventually lost interest because of this Thanks
