The customer support is actually useful compared to some other companies It s a shame they don t have a build in chat but their response time is fine The app is getting better and better but I would appreciate faster scanning as it takes a while to scan my back-uped 2TB NVMe planning to have even larger sizes Pricing for individuals is competitive an based on my experience so far I am planning to stick to Mega Sync

Great support received on Linux

Had an issue on Linux Ubuntu 21 04 then 22 04 LTS where the app was crashing under two use-cases Reported the issue to the support followed the troubleshoot instructions to no avail The support told me they were escaling the issue to the dev team Now after 2 months a new release fixed this bug Very decent time to come up with a fix from a dev perspective

Recovering a locked account

Thanks to the Mega support team I managed to recover my blocked account they were very helpful however I must emphasize that at first they did not understand my situation and were handling it wrong but after a few emails they managed to fully understand the situation and were 100 effective with the solution to my problem I lost the recovery codes and the two-step authentication So there was no way to log in without the help of Mega supportThe time it takes them to attend you is not much so I found all the process very fast

I experienced an issue recently where some folders were not being de-crypted in my mega cloud account Support were quick to respond it did take a while to resolve the issue but the communication was polite and professional when working through to a solution Good support overall
