I downloaded a corrupted large archive after 10 years

Recently I needed to download my old study archive file 1 37 GB uploaded 10 years ago After several failed attempts I wrote an email to MEGA support They replied me with the solution after 3 days even for free subscription I managed to download and extract this large archive Yes two unimportant files were broken during extract but it s better than if the entire archive was lost With their latest version v3 they have added an extra integrity check to prevent these problems during uploads By the way this is my first issue for 10 years of everyday using the MEGA service

MEGA captures what s important

I gotta say thank you I ve been bound to Dropbox for about a decade Their upsell tactics make their service feel like an expensive hotel that finds it appropriate to charge 15 for a bottle of water that you d find in the minibar MEGA captures what s important - sync share ample-storage and center their upgrades around storage the way it should be I work in sound and media and really am happy that I found a service with business grade storage the ability to share and sync and a simple and humane upgrade model Pricing is great of course but it s a big relief to finally move over to MEGA

Excellent service and security

I have been using MEGA Cloud for a long time I recently had an unfortunate experience with my account being hacked However I got my account back with the help of the MEGA team I m syncing a small amount of data to the MEGA cloud so the free service is sufficient Even though it was a free account the help was very effective I feel even more secure now that I use the multiple levels of security they provide including text messaging email and security apps I will definitely use this service when I need a large storage space I recommend this cloud service

Account hacked -- everything fixed

My account was hacked and MEGA was able to get me full access back as well as retrieve my permanently deleted files The process was completely painless and I am so happy with how easy everything was I ve been using MEGA since 2017 and I will continue using and supporting this company

Exactly what I needed

Just started with the Free allowance Really great program which allows me to select exactly the folders and files I d like to backup to the cloud Easy to access and manage from my PC and hugely useful access on my mobile when required Loaded and installed faultlessly on both platforms A slight hiccup my fault when I mistakenly selected Full Sync which copied everything Requested some technical help which was given a few hours later and solved the problem Excellent service so can 100 recommend

Mega is amazing Their customer service is super amazing

Mega not only provides amazing services but their customer support is amazing as well I got locked out of my account I had forgotten the password and I did not even had the secret recovery key but their team instantly handled the verifcation process and I got my account back and hence won my heart
