Unfortunately not the best experience

Unfortunately on this occasion I was let down by mobiles co uk I was looking to move my family phone accounts from Vodafone to iDmobile and so I made five orders The first order was to include a new phone as well this processed without any issues I then discovered the remaining four SIM orders for iDmobile were refused After several calls and online chats it turns out that you may only order one iDmobile SIM per month at least that s the reason I was given This means it ll take me five months to move the family phone accounts from Vodafone to iDmobile That s costing me a fortune unfortunately and there s nothing anybody could do so I was told So yes I feel extremely let down Previous experiences with mobiles co uk have been great it s such a shame

No gift voucher

I was promised a 100 curry s gift voucher and never received it I probably spent 30 minutes on the website and on hold with customer success trying to work out how to claim it but they make it very difficult so eventually you just give up

Service good but false advertising

Services is good as handset arrived the following day of placing order However I feel a little conned with my order I placed an order through moneysupermarket com for a new Samsung s24 Fe The deal I chose said claim a free galaxy watch fe I only came to find out after the order was placed that the offer ran from September to October The only reason for it still being advertised a month past the offer ending is to entice gullible people like myself to click through to purchasing that handset It s misleading and false advertisement I am very tempted to return the handset as I don t particularly like being mislead using false promotional tactics

I thought it s quick and easy but it s take long I not received my QR code yet it s says 31st I will get it but it s not I an still waiting to start my contract I don t know when can I receive it it s so annoying it s been 5 days now

I recently purchased a 12-month eSIM deal for 8 month with iD Mobile via mobiles co uk expecting cashback To my surprise they now tell me it will be split into five separate cheques totalling 48 completely unnecessary and outdated Using cheques is inefficient risky and costly due to potential postal and fraud issues Why not just make a single 48 BACS payment or even use a QR code for simplicity Burying this process in fine print instead of stating it upfront isn t transparent or customer-friendly Management needs to move with the times cheques and manual admin for such a small amount are a waste of everyone s time and resources Think efficiency and transparency it s long overdue

Existing customer frustrated to say the least

I ve previously had good experiences with this company but my latest transaction has been incredibly frustrating I purchased two SIM-only deals and neither was activated leaving me unable to use them Now I m stuck contacting Vodafone for details that mobiles co uk should have provided to activate the SIMs Vodafone couldn t locate my account number so I had to go back to mobiles co uk for clarification It s been a constant back-and-forth and I m left feeling annoyed To make matters worse I can t cancel as it s past the 14-day cooling-off period even though I haven t been able to use the service due to this issue It s been an entire month and this problem hasn t been resolved since day one I m now left with no choice but to deal with this misery I shouldn t have to jump through hoops to fix something that should have worked from the start

General service is good however I have not received my cash back on my monthly charge so the deal is not what it appears to be

The actual product samsung s24fe is great but I really feel duped into buying this as I haven t received the free earbuds that were supposed to come with it I have spoken to customer services on 3 occasions now about this and feel that they are doing their utmost to renege on the deal that was advertised I have even sent a screenshot of the deal which absolutely backs up my deal In fact the deal us still being advertised I am now considering sending the phone back and using the 14 day get out clause Be very careful if you are wanting the deals they are advertising

They Never Send Cashback Cheques

Their cashback premise is that you send them a bill every two months and they say they will send out a check for your cashback within 28 working days of acceptance They never do I have been using them for over 3 years now and i think in all that time I have maybe received 4 cheques in total I do receive the cashback eventually but this is because I have to call up and request the cashback spending 20-30 mins on the phone every time I m assuming their model is that they hope people don t chase or forget about the unreceived cheques so they don t have to pay out

Where is the Currys voucher that you promised

Bought a Google pixel 8a before Christmas Phone arrived fine BUT the deal should have included a 50 Curry s voucher which was supposed to be sent within a few weeks I ve now made 2 calls to their customer service department since Christmas - each time they have said they will escalate the query but I will have to wait 3-5 working days to hear back No one contacted me after 1st call 2nd call revealed that there was nothing on their system about first call It all feels very much like procrastination in the hope that I will give up Not very transparent in fact it s disingenuous Plus very annoying that I ve already had to waste so much time following it up After all it s an e-voucher which should be instantaneous I chose to buy from this company because of the promised voucher so beware if you are making your decision to purchase based on that - I fear suspect the voucher will never materialise Btw - I notice other people have reported the same experience here and with their cash back offers
