Being apprehensive about spending 850

Being apprehensive about spending 850 online for a MARS leather chair without testing it we ordered one first but the product is superb so we ordered another within days Reason for only 4 stars - delivery No time estimate given by carrier and for our second chair my wife had to negotiate a 40kg 30 cube box on her own up to our 4th floor apartment albeit via a lift The guy put it in the lift and said that s as far as he goes very disappointing This is a large heavy carton and I would advise almost everyone to pay a little extra for the two man delivery option Secondly bolting the arms on is simple enough if you re a diy type and used to handling nuts and bolts fortunately I am but if you re not you will need some help from someone practically minded because it would be easy to accidentally strip the threads

Chairs really comfortable and great looking Disappointed with the varnish finish on the footstool Also there were lots of threads hanging off the stools Given a refund to compensate Company service communication and response was second to none

Our two Morris Living Henley Riser Recliners

I called to raise a few queries before purchase but the salesman who picked up my call did not reflect the friendly impression of Morris Living s publicity His disinterest continued even with an order for two Henley Riser recliners The chairs arrived within a week with two men at 9 am They removed our old sofa unloaded assembled and plugged in the two chairs and were gone in a flash and it is a disappointment that they left the many wires 6 in a tangled mess The chairs seem to be well-made and the covering material looks hard-wearing They are firm yet comfortable providing good support for me 6 feet tall and my wife 5 feet tall One handset was damaged and replaced quickly Apart from the bored salesman who was a disappointment and who put a poor light on the company we are pleased with our chairs

Answered advised on a phone call query I had Ordered a swivel recliner chair that came after 48 hours Instructions to assemble were clear just took a little longer than expected and needs 2 persons I d suggest

A good product generallyl

The chair appears well constructed and is comfortable It arrived on time and was assembled quickly by the delivery men but one nut was missing which fortunately I managed to supply The electric contols buttons need to be better identified and the power unit needs to be contained within the chair not hanging loose

Brilliant quick delivery service One star off for not making it clear exactly what some self assembly actually meant Item matched the picture very well colour slightly darker All in all a good purchase thank you

Phone advice and support was great

The personal phone support was great I bought a refurbished chair because the most suitable one wasn t available to rent I was disappointed that delivery was only to the door Rentals are brought in and assembled My poorly relative would not have been able to bring it in himself Also there were no assembly instructions in the box as promised A phone call soon sorted an email with them Overall good and not so good

Great chair

I am totally satisfied with the chair I purchased it is fabulous Great looks comfortable and quiet movement My only reason for not giving 5 stars was the mess up with delivery but I phoned Morris Living and they immediately sorted it for me Delivery men were great and quickly and efficiently unpacked chair and took all the packing away with them

Might require a magnifying glass

Good communication delivered in a timely fashion Will be a tad easier to construct if there are two of you but one can manage it with a bit of patience and a lot of sweat Very comfortable chair great for an afternoon snooze Harsh to deduct one star but if the assembly instructions were printed any larger I would have been able to follow them - in my case a magnifying glass was required Overall very pleased with the purchase

Nice chair - comfortable and well designedBut method of telephone communication does not engender confidence Unable to get through directly to speak to someone in sales so have to be available to receive a return call for an undisclosed period Begs the question how long I may have to wait if I have a complaint
