Do not buy

Do not buy Two recent pairs of Muck Boots started to leak within 12 months of purchase For my first pair which were 10 months old when the seams came away I received just half of the purchase price to compensate - I was told that was down to fair wear and tear As they were so comfortable I foolishly ordered another pair but within three months they leaked too also at the upper seams I have repeatedly emailed Customer Services but have not received a response thus far Beware Clearly there has been a production problem different manufacturer as friends who have older Muck Boots are perfectly happy with their boots

Apex Pro boot poor performance

Purchased Apex Pro boots in July 23 direct from manufacturer as they were described as High Performance and waterproof In Feb 2024 after a total of approximately 80hrs of walking during the winter months one of the boots cracked on the top of the boot where they flex when you walk letting in water Muck Boots examined the pictures of the failed boot and stated it was fair wear and tear Very disappointing that an expensive boot failed after 80hrs use and was classified as fair wear and tear and therefore not covered by their warranty

Customer service is awful

Customer service is awful They do not respond at all I sent boots back over two weeks ago no refund Chasing the company no response at all

On my second pair of muck master boots

On my second pair of muck master boots First pair lasted just over a year which I didn t mind too much as I can t seem to find any wellie that lasts longer than that but my second pair have barely lasted 6 months I only walk the dog in them so nothing too heavy and both pairs have split at the back of the ankle There is no give in the boots at all The taped seams up the back of the boots are also starting to peel off Won t be buying again

Shoes leak

My wife and I both purchased Muck boot gardening shoes in March 2023 They started to leak after 6 months Should have sent them back but were too busy and the leaks were small They now both leak on the sides and shoe caps where the neoprene bonds to the sole and shoe front We notice other have reported the same problem Consequently would not recommend - they may be trendy and look good but they are not fit for purpose We are going back to Hunters - not so pretty maybe but at least they are fit for purpose

Muck Boots rubbish service

I bought a pair of Muck Boots they were not my main Wellies they were for short walks and gardening They split at the heel after a year I returned them 2 weeks ago they have had them for a week and keep fobbing me off They have said they will refund but are delaying it continually A refund is a simple procerdure that can be done in a couple of minutes It s bad enough that they were not great quality this makes it so much worse

Poor quality for the price

Poor quality for the price The first pair my partner had split after 2 years of light use now the second pair have slit even worse than the first pair after again light use It appears the quality is getting worse even after all the complaints they have received over the years On the plus side they are very comfortable boots sort the quality and longevity of your products

Not fit for purpose Leaking and split after one season

Like others have said these are very comfortable boots but splits have appeared along the seam at the back of both boots and now they leak Only used for dog walking less than six months The same thing happened to my daughters boots bought on my recommendation before the leaking The company don t want to know and claim there are no other reports of similar problems

Very expensive rubbish

At over 100 these boots are by far the most expensive boots I ve ever purchased and similarly they are the worst quality boot I ve owned To say they are uncomfortable is an understatement I persevered with them initially buying heel protectors after the ridiculous moulding chewed the skin off my heel only to have one seal after another break down and leak They really are rubbish and the quality is something akin to a pound land purchase Customer service is none existent and zero interest in complaints about the defective products they pedal Avoid

Boots failed in under a year

Bought 145 boots and within a year two splits appeared on both boots making them non-waterproof There was a warranty of a year but they said Further to the return images sent regarding your warranty claim I regret to inform you that the issue has been deemed as fair wear and tear by our Quality Control team and is not covered by our warranty
