Was seduced by the slick Facebook add campaign for these adventure pants but you live and learn Firstly the delivery is by no means quick not a massive problem but you kind of realise that they are coming from China but understandable When they arrived eventually they are in a simple plastic bag no delivery note shipped from an undeliverable PO box in the UK with a Customs label on the bag stating the value to be approximately 10 of the purchase price The Trousers themselves are some weird stretchy material not great to look at baggy nowhere near the size that they ought to be I can put my hands in the pockets with them fastened and pull them straight down They don t give me any feeling of any quality no real difference to a pair of fleecy track suit bottoms I d send them back of course until you realise that they really don t want you to do this so make you send them off to Canada with the cost that that would involve plus a re-stocking fee I ll forget about them stick them in the boot of my car for emergencies and look elsewhere

Ordered two pairs of trousers in December and when they finally arrived the waist sizes were two inches too big even though labelled as the size I ordered I asked for a return and exchange which was dealt with very quickly by email and I paid for the return postage to Canada yup definitely Canada I sent them the first week in January and my replacements arrived today 9th March I ordered a 32 leg on both pairs one pair is 29 and the other 33 and both are labelled as 32 Aaarrggghhhh I have just written a very snotty letter to them and will have to keep the order as I am not paying another load of Canadian postage and waiting another two months The long ones are ok I can wear them But the short ones are just way too short The company clearly states their products are designed in Canada but made in China No problem there I have loads of Chinese-made kit that is brilliant These trousers are great quality but Northbound need to up the level of quality control on sizing though eBay will be seeing one pair shortly to coin a phrase

I placed an order to be sent to US Seattle just over the border after the site said orders may take 3-4 days to be shipped and in some rare cases 4 weeks It s been over 4 weeks since my order was placed and I ve yet to receive it They should update their site stating US orders will be 4 weeks for full transparency When I emailed CS I only received vague answers dodging my question of what shipping service will be used I was given a tracking that appeared invalid on every single platform I typed it into Again anytime I asked what shipping service will be used the question was ignored and they just sent me the same invalid tracking I m only speaking to their CS comms and shipping info on their site The integrity of the gear looks good just bummed that I have to wait this long to try it and be met with odd CS comms

My Jacket ripped very easily under the arm pit area While I was sipping up the zipper Very poor quality as my jacket was only 3 months old Would not recommend this product

You only need to read the reviews to see they are not written properly and the wrong grammar is used - clearly written by people employed by the non-Canadian Chinese company using drop shipping - don t be fooled

Order with caution We ordered a men s and a woman s pair of trousers When they arrived the quality wasn t too bad but the sizing is way off very big enormous even That s when I discovered that in order to get an exchange I had to pay for the trousers to be posted back to Canada and I was told that I would then be charged for them to send out the exchange To make matters worse it s taken nearly 3 MONTHS for them to receive the items I have emailed and emailed them to find out what has happened to my items After my final snotty email miraculously my items have turned up What a surprise Let s see whether I actually receive my exchange But put it this way I will not be ordering for them again

I order pants that came too large that s fine just exchange That s the problem no one is getting back on return shipping Not a good company So far NB has received my return I ll see if I get a return of a different size

Don t be fooled into thinking you are buying their own design branded products You are buying cheap Chinese mass produced garments with a little logo sewn inside available cheaper elsewhere Clothes ok for a dog walk but not an adventure

If you are looking for pants that are waterproof note these are water resistant 45 minutes of being out in drizzle conditions and you are soaked I unfortunately assumed they were waterproof after seeing video adverts of water being dropped on the pants they are not so buyer beware Also delivery of the product took over a month Excuse given it was purchased in Canada I have had no other issues from US vendors

I ordered the Northboundgear Adventure pant and it took about 2 weeks longer than iI expected to arrive That was not a big deal but unfortunately the pants were a full size larger than my usual US size 8 I contacted the company about doing an exchange as the design seemed to suit the purpose that I bought them for and they were prompt in providing instructions on how to send them back What I did not expect was that the shipping cost from the east coast of the US to Canada would be 45-50 US on a pair of pants that cost 89 It was just not worth the cost and effort Hoping to find a friend to give them away to Would not buy from this company again
