I just ordered pants and then read the reviews Dumb on my part as I likely wouldn t have ordered The deed is done I ll write an updated review once the pants arrive and I wear them I hope I didn t just waste

We have purchased a few items from Northbound gear over separate orders The quality of the stuff is really good and we have been happy with it What I don t like is the amount of time it takes to ship All 3 orders took over a month to arrive They also bombard us with spam mail emails text messages when I m sleeping and no matter how many times I unsubscibe I keep getting them which is annoying and unprofessional

Quality products let down by slow delivery and customer services

Call this a 3 5 5 I ve bought three items from Northbound all at the same time The Adventure the Explorer and the zip off The delivery left a bit to desire It was within their prescribed time frames--I received in approximately 3 weeks and I had expected better from reviews I also had notification of to be delivered from the post company only to have that notification reversed and then more days added It was confusing all in all Adventure was true to size great fit warm comfortable I really like stretchy fabric and this has it so makes for good active movement Definitely geared towards the the cooler months Weather resistant Very pleased with them The Explorer Lighter fabric weather resistant true to size also great range of motion Very pleased with it The 2 in 1 Oh dear I bought the tan and just a bit of a caution We ve heard of the grey sweat pant effect I ll leave it there Maybe that is a pro for you Fabric and utility is there but comfort and fit leave a lot to be desired Not sure how the other two can fit so well and yet this one is off the mark The waist to crotch distance has you almost sporting the high waisted pants effect from the 80s The fabric gathers in the middle inseam leg length was also longer so drags I m comparing to the other two pants Can t say I recommend them I had meant to return them but didn t get around to it in time so that is my bad I can t comment to their return efficiency

I m sure I ll like the pants The only problem is that I ordered them two weeks ago and still haven t received them - and I live in the country where the company is based So I can t comment on the quality of the product but I CAN say that shipping is painfully slow These guys ought to take a lesson from Amazon

Took a leap of faith and ordered a second pair of hiking pants and the delivery is delayed again so I m downgrading my original review for delivery from 4 stars to 3 stars The product is still awesome These are probably the best pair of hiking pants for cold Canadian wintertime hikes So the pants get a solid 5 star rating The company however has to do better with getting the product delivered within the promised timeframe or they need to do a better job of communicating delays with customers After a couple of emails with customer service it was clear to see they re working on improving that aspect of their overall service delivery My customer service rep Jamie was responsive and helpful - kudos there I ve taken a leap of faith and placed a second order with them this morning Keeping my fingers crossed that this time delivery will be much smoother One more thing I d also love to see more colour variations for the women s adventure pants

I ordered two pairs of the Women s Adventure Water Resistant Pants - High Waisted pants They took 12 days to arrive from Canada Unfortunately they are cut very straight and don t accommodate bigger hips thighs a bigger size wouldn t work because then the waist would be huge Unfortunately I didn t realize customers pay for return shipping - 57 from US to Canada I paid nearly 60 to try on these pants I also ordered gaiters snow grips and those seem good quality but I wouldn t recommend buying anything from this company that might not fit

At first I was very happy with the men s adventure pant Stretch and comfort for hiking fishing and hunting fall and winter however after a few months they seem to be wearing and I also had a zipper on a pocket rarely use let go The company only offered a 30 discount for a replacement Customer service is quick to respond but be prepared for painfully slow shipping The exchange policy is brutal as you have to pay for return shipping Don t be fooled by the flashy website and compiled reviews Spend a few extra dollars for a better pant that will last and the company stands behind its defects Update Jan 28 I copied this conversation and contacted the company as I was curious Response was how can we help you I suppose the emails pictures and back and forth regarding the issue wasn t enough the first time Shop elsewhere this company is overpriced Has extra costs and the product isn t worth the price Nothing I have purchased is worth what I paid adventure pants belt toque gators shop Amazon you ll be better off or brand name if your looking for quality

I will update my review when if I get my order So far my beef is that there was no indication of shipping wait times Customer service has been of no help as all they kept saying is be assured that it has been shipped however the Canada Post tracking number does not show that it has been shipped After I told them that they again said to be assured that it has been shipped although there was no way that she was able to confirm that but did say that it could take up to 4 weeks She told me that the adventure pants I ordered is coming from China which was news to me and now I am concerned of the quality as well I wish that it they would let the customer know at the time of the order that it could take that long to get the order and that it ships from China Anyways I will see how long it takes to get the order and will update my review on the quality Update I received my pants about 3-1 2 weeks after the order Pants are just okay not really designed to stretch in the crotch or thigh area when hiking I would consider them more of a walking pants than hiking

Great product but mixup in order caused substantial delay Eventually received what I wanted after proving I had not received ordered item
