Do NOT support this organization

If I could give zero stars I would NSLS was completely unprofessional and disrespectful to my school When I attended my undergrad university I joined NSLS A peer of mine was a part of the leadership team representing NSLS at my school so I heard what was happening on the inside NSLS had horrible communication with the leadership team took students money and made excuses as to why they weren t responding or couldn t support the team This was disappointing to witness as NSLS has such high regard and is praised for what they do but they completely disregarded our school s chapter NSLS needs to be held accountable for their actions

I haven t found any value in this

I haven t found any value in this organization After the initiation I found I was too late to apply for any of the advertised scholarships I have seen zero benefits to joining other than a free DISC assessment

Used Car salesmen are less pushy annoying

I ve had less pushy used car salesmen try to get me to buy a car and the person who runs my local chapter is incredibly rude This whole thing stinks of a MLM scam with a signup fee how they hound you to sign up and don t take no for an option

Waste of money and time

This is an expensive service to begin with but at the time of purchasing you are asked to upgrade your membership and buy additional products many times After paying the fees you are then asked to go through a lengthy orientation process that includes essay questions inorder to be inducted I regret spending the money when I do not have the time to jump through their hoops

I received a completely different shirt

I received a completely different shirt than the one I paid for The shirt I received was just a plain t shirt that s not even worth what i paid for my order I was told I would be getting the one I originally ordered but as of now I still haven t received anything and on top of that I paid for express shipping

Do not waste your money

Many steps involved to be a part of this after nomination long enough that it goes long past 30 days they say they offer a refund Do not pay for the encouraged plaque or anything else because you will not get them and will not get a refund for any items purchased even though you will not receive them It is a waste of money and does not provide any real benefits other than to a select few in their specific active group

Stop with the incessant offers I have received many emails that have served no purpose than go clog up my inbox If j would so desire an inspirational video I would find one I just want to complete the course and receive whatever certification I was offered Quickly I am reconsidering my purchasing of whatever package I ordered

Company wants to upsell you after initial membership Very scummy I will save you time and money it s not worth it Just pursue your institution s honor program and ignore this Basic membership is 100 upsell is around 125 for the advanced and executive membership regalia is around 45 and the wooden plaque for the certificate costs extra as well

I tried purchasing the book Win Every Argument The Art of Debating Persuading and Public Speaking by Mehdi Hasan The checkout process was very glitchy and I ended up ordering 2 books instead of one Moreover I did not receive any purchase order receipt details

I finished my induction course online and brought my plaque for the wall to be told via email that I will not get a certificates mug or T-shirt as seen in the YouTube video I spoke to several people live chat with different stories on my status of my certificate being mailed out
