I am a new-to-college older adult student and the process and my first class have been exceptional The format that National University offers meets my needs I would like to obtain my degree in a shorter period of time I am enjoying the pace my professor is exceptional and the material is challenging and rewarding I am grateful for the opportunity to study at National University

I completed my MA in Strategic Communication in May which required 10 courses It ended up taking over a year because I needed to take breaks - either because I didn t have the prerequisites for the classes offered that term or just because I wanted a break Overall I was very pleased with the program It is one course at a time and each course is 4 weeks so it s definitely a grind Breaks were essential for me The advisors were very helpful in figuring out which courses I could take in which order even helping me petition to take some out of order to graduate faster It is designed for full-time employed adults which is good because it requires a lot of time management skills It s not the sort of program I could have managed at 17 but it was a good fit for me as a working adult The courses I took had a live lecture every Monday or Tuesday but they were recorded in case I had to miss They also offered this program called DART which gave a big discount on textbooks Professors were flexible as long as students were communicative This program had some of the most knowledgable and dedicated professors I ve ever encountered and pushed me to write papers that I m incredibly proud of It was also nice to learn alongside career-minded people who took the program seriously The capstone was great because it focused on professional development and a lot of the program work I d already completed went toward my portfolio I would certainly recommend this school to busy adults looking to better themselves

I enjoyed my time at NU while in my masters program Everyone was very helpful from the beginning to when I finished my program

Overall great experience in terms of resources support and getting on track with my educational goals The advisors are involved in helping students receive the help tools needed to succeed

Amazing school Such an easy process to sign up and they check in on you to make sure you don t need any help frequently which is great They are super fast at replying to issues The classes have been great Professors are super nice and have taught me a lot of new things

NU is the best thing that s ever happened to me Because of National University I am now employed at an AM 100 global law firm

Im an Army Veteran who has attempted higher education three times prior to enrolling at National University The course structure of one course per month as night classes have really been a turn around in my educational pursuits I am learning effectively and enjoying college for once I am fourteen months into my degree program for bachelors which is about the halfway point since many credits were given for my military training records I would encourage anyone especially veterans or active military to attend National It has been a redeeming istitution when it comes to my opinion of college education and they take care of their students and staff A very professional and organized place to be a member of I am looking forward to earning a second and general bachelors after my first degree is completed

I have done 4 online classes at NU and I am not disappointed at all very cool structure nice online portal and if you have questions the professors get back to you with just one email - so thumbs up
