The process started off great the first week of June with getting timely responses By the end of June response time slowed every 3 to 5 days when I had questions The application process was super confusing and it was rejected because I was missing one form related to Covid I find this ironic since it s an online program The communications dropped off in the month of July and by then the classes I needed were full and they can t take me until September I withdrew my application in the end

I wish I could give negative stars
I wish I could give negative stars Scam of a University - I was so excited for furthering my education with National University But NOBODY ever got back to me after numerous attempts I sent emails to admissions help desk both of my counselors the Scholarship department and finally gave up after a few months I personally think it was a ploy to not let me use the Transfer Scholarship to receive 50 off As soon as I showed the scholarships I was eligible for nobody seemed to respond Terrible outreach program

Terrible communication with financial
Terrible communication with financial aid They are not helpful or student centered I also don t think they re compliant with federal TIV guidelines The portal is very confusing to navigate which is strange since this college has so many online degree opportunities Maybe they should use their money to invest in better platforms and FA staff

Carefully consider attending this college
Be careful when applying for and attending this college I entered the clinical laboratory scientist program and was basically fed to the wolves after I finished The college does nothing to help you find an internship afterwards so now I have been looking for an internship or job without any luck and it s been over 1 year This college is so expensive and I feel like I had a better education at a community college 10 years ago Thanks for wasting my time and money Also double check if this college is accredited seems a little sketchy now

Pressure Overpriced and misguidance
No matter how many times I informed admissions I was no longer interested almost daily did they call to harass about enrollment They continuously pushed me toward a degree that did not align with my career path but did add on classes so they could get more money out of me Overall very disappointing university I switched to SNHU and never looked back now I get to graduate fast without debt and a concentration in my actual field of study

Waste of my time
The only reason they even get a single star is because the professors are amazing Education wise all great On-boarding financing admissions all non-existent I put in 10 calls to maybe get one returned a week later Do more then take my money or don t claim yourself service or concierge because the staff is neither -10 experience In the 8 weeks i gave them to onboard the last 2 i shared with Cal State which had me set up in 2 afternoons

Choose a different school
Very difficult to get a hold of anyone If you are using a VA benefit it takes FOREVER for them to process payments Their masters of science in instructional technology program is a waste of time It is all self teaching with WAY too much information Every class is extremely repetitive Department for graduation is a nightmare there is no way to get a hold of them or have them return a call

Not a caring or competent school
Simply put I started at National university in early 2000 I was injured while working While recovering my advisor never removed me from current schedule as well did little to nothing and messed up much Now that I am finally able to go back National has tried to not give me my credits I have been teaching for over 12 years National never took responsibility nor really fixed anything

Terrible student finance support
I ve been attending this school since the beginning of 2022 Every time I get a Pell Grant disbursement I have to call and make sure I can get that money disbursed to me If I don t they ll keep the money without saying a word My tuition is covered by the VR E program yet my account balance is absurdly high Every time I call the financial aid department for an explanation their representatives act like they no nothing nor have the knowledge to correct a mistake My academic financial advisor is terrible at getting back to me I called and emailed about a month ago only for her to barely call me back yesterday with no results If it wasn t for my VR E program keeping me in their bachelor s program I would have tried my best to transfer out already There s been countless times where their financial aid representatives say they will call me back with answers but I never receive a call back I have to follow up just to make sure they re doing their job properly
