I booked for a 17-seater for my local

I booked for a 17-seater for my local church assembly for a Christian retreat to Colchester from Catford I was telephoned about 2 hours before delivery that the vehicle had a problem I was then offered two smaller vehicles which when combined were not up to the 17 seater we had paid for We were promised a discount for this inconvenience but we did not get anything Secondly it took NVR 4 weeks for us to get our deposit repaid I had to call NVR about 6 times for it to be finally released Thirdly There was a delay in picking up the two smaller cars from our premises and when it was finally picked up they were left on the public road for about two weeks

Avoid

Similar story to many genuine customers on here Vehicle was over five hours late on delivery when it arrived it was not road worthy with multitude of warning lights and faults Over two months of chasing to get 1k deposit back with repeated excuses Customer service agents were friendly enough but utterly ineffective Only had resolution when reported to credit card company I d guess it is insolvent Featured on BBC Watchdog tonight

Really bad company

You send it rubbish car and all body was damaged normally you said in 7 days return deposit but it takes more than 1 month and I get penalty notice you take 60 pound for admin fee and I can t take it back and I paid penalty as well I rent a car everywhere in the word but first time I had bad experience in UK Time wasters

Booked a van for 10am for today the

Booked a van for 10am for today the 18th on the 5th but yet it didn t turn up When we finally got through to CS they said they would contact us back after 30 minutes heard nothing so bad to ring up again this time however we were informed that apparently there was a change of vehicle request made but we never had the email or in the junk folder This is all after payment So here we were expecting a van but nothing turns up and of course they say over the phone that bookings are full now so we can t get anything Asked for a refund

My husband and I rented a mini van for a week on the 12 th sept When returning it was told our deposit of 1250pds would be returned in 5 to 7 days now 3 months later phone calls every other day saying they will contacted customer service and will email us no response still waiting for our deposit to be returned would never recommend to go through them stay away

Awful

Awful - late delivery damaged possibly not road worthy - broken mirror broken indicator lens filthy cab filthy load area dirty inside windscreen - crappiest van I ve ever hired Tried customer services but got nothing worthwhile back we ll give feedback to the depot Go elsewhere

Increased cost with no choice

Booked for 1 day came back and essentially forced me to pay for 3 days to fit their schedule Terrible service

Still waiting for deposit back

Handed back thr van on the 19th December Still waiting on my deposit to be refunded They ignore emails from me when I m asking for evidence of deposit being processed Saying can take 28 days to receive which is BS Asked for an automatic van gave me a manual When it was dropped off the driver said they had about 20 automatic vans available Overpriced on the picking up of different location Avoid

deposit not returned two weeks later

Hired two vans from them The vans were scruffy and the tailgate on one was temperamental The staff who deliver are run ragged and overworked I hired the vans on the 14th of January and I still dont have my deposit back Initially they say 7-10 working days but now I am told it could be up to 28 days I wouldn t use them again

Vehicle not available - after paying in full

Spent 15 mins booking a vehicle via their site - for one days rental Paid in full then received email to say no vehicle was available I mean what is the point of your website Do you just take payment from everyone and try and sort out provision of a van after The concept van delivered to you is very appealing the reality is - COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME
