The car was ok Their support was not

The driver for the drop off did not go to the hotel reception to let us know he was there so he waited a long time and so did we An email was sent which we could have missed to contact the driver as he is waiting downstairs Also they did not inform us of the congestion charges for entering into the zone in London we did not know that there was such thing as we are tourists and then they send us 3 penalties to pay for the car I tried contacting them about it but got no answer Plus they charged us 60p for each penalty as they put so much work to deal with it

Delivery went fairly smoothly booked

Delivery went fairly smoothly booked delivery for 8am but was not informed until payment had been taken that thy had a 2 hour delivery window which meant the van might not arrive until 10am Van was very good clean Collection was another story again a 2 hour collection window so the van could be collected any time between 8 10am but that didn t happen had to call them twice and after an extremely long wait for the phone to be answered like 20min was promised a call back with information on when the driver would be with me thy never bothered to return my calls the driver finally arrived at 2 30pm I would not use this company again and the 3 stars given is generous

Not great but still the best in the market

The vehicle arrived 8 hours later than scheduled and was not in great condition faulty passenger windscreen wiper and covered in dents and scratches but it did the job it was hired for and both the delivery driver and the collection driver were courteous and helpful I will use them again as they are still cheaper and easier to deal with than most other hire companies

A little disappointed as I expected a vehicle that would give me a peace of mind during my journey

I was disappointed that I didn t get a clean wash vehicle Rare wiper did have any rubber on it It s hard to verify if there are any damages or scratches if you don t have clean wash vehicle Tyre had damaged on 2 places which was not recorded when it was delivered One of the tyre was losing air and needed to top up every 100 miles When initially making enquiries to the centre they never return calls

Efficient service apart from deposit issue

Hired a van form Nationwide for one day Very efficient service the van was delivered and collected at the agreed time and the person I dealt with was very helpful My only reservation for using the company again is that it took nearly a month and four phone calls before I had my 250 deposit returned to me

10 day van rental

The van was as ordered and in good condition I have no complaints about the van at all and the price of the rental was very competitive The reason I score only a 3 is due to logistics If you are planning activities based on when you are taking delivery of a van and ultimately when it needs collecting it proved awkward The van arrived 3 hours before the allotted 2 hour window and given the hirer and all the docs need to be there for collection this was frustrating to manage After our rental period ended no one called or appeared to collect it during the two hour window it was actually a further week before it was collected If this part of the service was improved I would score higher

Delayed collection

Booked over the phone a van which arrived a couple of days before required Great to enable us to pack it at our pace Newish van and drove fine The problem came on return when they took 5 days to collect

poor business but good minibus

i need the van to take to Belgium and booked the crossing under the reg they gave when it arrives 2 hours outside the advised time frame the registration was different so i had to amend my crossing booking they were also a day late collecting the car The warning light for BlueAd was also on when i turned the ignition on the overall business model and organization is not good however the guy who dropped the car off gave a great explanation of the controls and where everything was

I ordered a Luton to be delivered

I ordered a Luton to be delivered between 6-8pm the day before I needed it and at 6 45pm that night I had a call to say that there was an issue with the van so it could not be delivered and they offered me a replacement van LWB Transit which is not the companies fault however it was to be delivered the next morning between 8-10am I did not receive the van until 10 30am the next day even though I stressed to NVR that I needed the van as early as possible as I had a full day of moving Van that was delivered ended up not being able to lock the back door due to impact damage but I took the van as I needed to use it that day The van was supposed to be picked up the next day yesterday however as of now the van is still outside my house due to issues with a drvier being able to pick it up Also only after ordering the van I found out that I could have got a Luton from Enterprise Rentals for 99 instead of having to pay 280 ish I did recevie a refund however due to the van being different when it was recevied and the time reduced Some stuff could not be helped if someone had crashed the Luton etc and I understand that but the timing of drop off and pick up could have

Expensive for an 8 year old vehicle

Initially the website stated the vehicle could be delivered anywhere not just to airports Post code directions were relayed but still the driver had difficulty finding the drop off spot The vehicle was 8 years old with a dirty interior poor for the price While travelling to Holland I had a phone call stating we had broken down which we had not I had to wait nearly 3 weeks for the deposit to be repaid after a few phone calls
