I was issued a PCN via the post to a fine of 70 but reduced to 40 if I paid within 28 days They said I was 1 hour and 52 minutes at the car park limit is 1 hour and 30 mins that is nearly two hours which rung alarm bells as I would never be there for that amount of time They say that I entered at 15 41 and left at 17 34 - they had pictures of my vehicle The problem is that I Paid the 40 in panic and not happy about it there was nothing I could do IThen found a receipt of the day in question and purchased items on that date and payed for them at 16 30 hours via my debit card This made more sense enter at 15 40 and left at 16 30 - 16 33 There is no way I would have left the shopping in my car and gone for a walk or talked to someone for an hour in the car park I bought meat that needed to go into the fridge I am totally convinced that the time on their cameras parking eye ANPR is or was out for an hour I spoke to 4 properties in my street who have or had cctv 3 not working and the other POST OFFICE only covers the pavement so would not pick my car up driving home i live opposite I have sent an appeal to parking eye and sent them the receipts of when i paid for the shopping 16 30 and asked them to review their CCTV ANPR It was only when I found the receipt that I knew that I was in the right Proving I left there is more complicated I will wait for response of parking eye failing that I can appeal to POPLA I will go to local MP local press transport minister as I am so convinced that I was not at the site on the time they said any suggestions

I know this review may not be well received judging by the amount of vitriol and bile being spouted here but here goes I overstayed in a supermarket car park by 12 minutes and received a PCN I appealed stating my case through the website and waited fully expecting to have a protracted fight on my hands In about a week I had a reply cancelling the charge and wishing me a happier experience next time I shopped at supermarket I have concluded that the PCN was just issued by a computer and once a human gets involved and you have a reasonable case you may be able to avoid a lot of stress I disagree with another poster who advises to just ignore the notice I don t want to spend months worrying about the possible outcome from that course of action From the research I undertook while dealing with this it seems that it s a lot more difficult to avoid the escalation that will happen if you don t follow the procedure since I had a run in with another company some years ago and did just that they eventually gave up when I threatened to sue them for harassment and invoice them for each reply I would have to write Like many other people I fumed and thought it was all very unfair when the PCN arrived but it s not worth all the hassle of trying to be awkward you are just damaging your own mental wellbeing

My wife typed in the registration number wrong at West Quay Southampton resulting in a charge of 60 for Parking Eye To compound the problem she paid cash for the cinema so we had no evidence she was genuinely at the cinema Do oh I paid up and wrote a polite letter to parking Eye explaining the error One of the people at Parking Eye went back through their records bless and spotted her error and refunded the charge in full The trouble with these reviews you all hear about the bad ones so I thought it only fair to redress the balance a little as so often you only get one side of the story Thank you Parking Eye Remember with the likes of Amazon and eBay are crippling high street retailers so they have no option but to ensure parking is available to their customers If an office worker parks their car in a retailer s car park all day and doesn t pay they ve put high street retailers at risk

A truly hideous scam company May you wake up with fleas in your armpits and your arms too short to scratch

have to be fair used their car park to drop off and pick up my daughter who was having her car serviced in a nearby garage showed them her receipt and they cancel the ticket
