If I could give a zero I would 3250 for Phonax honestly not worth a quarter of the price after 3 weeks charging case stopped working Bluetooth won t connect aids never lasted full day Everything that was in the box had faults after 3 weeks Please avoid at all costs Returned for refund which I got and couldn t get out of Boots quickly enough

Phonak and Audeo are a scam total ripoff and pure unadulterated junk I paid 6 000 for a pair of P70s and never got anything closely resembling sound quality Started having problems with one or the other aids thankfully never both at once as I was nearing the payoff point I took them to the audiologist where I bought them and his focus was on my purchase date rather than the problem I was having That tells me they are designed to fail in a certain time span and i won t be buying another pair And if that s not bad enough the app sucks as well You can customize the program for your needs yes but you have to keep going back to the app because it will switch off your preference and go back to automatic setting every time Automatic setting is just another word for earplug setting Worst high dollar purchase I have ever made and I won t do it again

Dreadful push the customer around from pillar to post because they couldn t be bothered to sort out two simple requests 1 I wanted to buy a plug for my charger to use in the EU 2 I wanted to know if the drying unit for my hearing aids would be suitable paradise set I d bought Each time they refused to answer simple requests other than to say go back to your audiologist who supplied the hearing aids Great but I purchased my hearing aids in Boots Warrington store and I live in Portugal So not exactly easy to just pop in This was explained to Phonak who still gave the same stock answer Awful service sorry to have bought Phonak

Buying Phonak from Boots Be wary
UK Customers who purchase a Phonak hearing aid from Boots should be aware that Phonak is part of Boots Audiology This was not mentioned by my Boots audiologist who was very keen that I bought Phonak As far as I can see this connection is not mentioned in any Boots literature I did some research and saw that Phonak are often badly reviewed and rarely appear on Top 10 best hearing aid lists unlike Oticon and other brands which are similarly priced My advice - go to an independent audiologist and research the best hearing aids Boots need to look at this disingenuous practice which is unfair to loyal customers

Nothing but problems
Nothing but problems ever since I got them in fact my hearing has actually significantly declined The filter in the right aid keeps popping out inside my ear Pairing with my phone was easy but every one sounds like Alvin and the chipmunks High pitched sounds small children laughing are like fingernails on a chalkboard and loud booming sounds motorcycles and big truck makes my head feel like it s going to explode I ve dealt with constant problems for two years The primary reason I haven t switched is the cost For what I paid the devices should have a longer shelf life Simply put Phonak hearing aids are crap and have not enhanced the quality of life one iota

I had Phonak P30 hearing aids about 6 months ago and they ve never worked properly I ve had difficulty saving programs they claim to be able to save up to 10 programmes and I ve only managed 4 at the best Now that function has crashed completely I can only contact the manufacturer through the audiologist He says that Phonak are having problems with the software and are working on it for 6 months I wish I hadn t wasted my money Roger Fereday

We purchased the Phonak Audeo M90-R
We purchased the Phonak Audeo M90-R hearing aids for our elderly mother on the basis that the bluetooth would pair with 2 devices In her case the TV and a phone She also purchased a Gigaset phone as recommended for compatibility The Gigaset is not compatible with these hearing aids and will not pair Also the design of the hearing aids loop over ear interferes with wearing spectacles hats etc We are bitterly disappointed Unfairly sold to an elderly women on a promise of a better experience but never delivered

Update on an earlier review
I reviewed my Phonak cros aid some months ago commenting that app is truly awful I upgraded my phone and switched to an iphone It has made absolutely no difference The contempt Phonak is showing to its customers and hearing aid users is disgusting

Don t bother with this app
I ve had the myPhonak app for a week now - recommended by the audiologist I ve had to uninstall it and reinstall it over six times in that week My hearing aids keep unpairing and the app can t find them again even if I close the program unpair the aids repair them and do everything else recommended The only way to reconnect them is to install the app again Shame since it would have been useful to have all the controls easily at hand on my phone

Phonak hearing aids work well as long as there is no need for them to interact with another device such as your mobile phone or Roger Select The app is useless see other reviews The Select device has its own issues which are not acknowledged or addressed by Phonak Phonak are really unhelpful and appear not to care they cant be contacted for advice and assistance and the FAQ s do not address all issues Boots Hearing Care try their best but have no influence over the inadequacies of the product or the service from Phonak
