I have lived in one of Pillar Properties rooms for 2 5 years The rooms are modern and the staff were very prompt dealing with maintenance issues Justin was especially friendly in my experience I also met a lot of young people in the course of living there Some friendlier than others On the whole I would recommend renting from Pillar However it is important to remember that this is a business for them Read your contract carefully as they will hold you accountable for everything Straighten out any gray areas from the start I e what constitutes wear and tear and get them to put this in writing before signing agreeing No matter how good a tenant you are there is no leeway with them on anything Fundamentally it boils down to money and that became increasingly obvious - particularly towards the end of the tenancy Moving out was stressful However I respect their desire to ensure the properties are kept in a good condition
