Empire lampshades in raspberry taj silk

Bought 2 x 25cm empire lampshade in raspberry taj silk and they go perfectly with the 2 Ginny lamp bases The colour is a bit more pink than deep red like a crimson but they are a lovely contrast to the Stiffkey blue paint and patterned wallpaper in our bedroom Thought they d be quite dark for reading at night time but it s not a problem

Warm homely light

I chose the Phileas rechargeable table lamp in Antique Bronze with 16cm Empire shade in cream card with gold lining It arrived well packaged and in perfect condition I absolutely love it It sits on the sideboard in a corner of the lounge with no power point It gives off a soft light but I like the fact it has 3 brightness settings so I can have it brighter if required

Vellum not as bright as ivory shades

Easy ordering quick delivery in eco friendly wrapping I was expecting the shade to give off more light through and below the vellum than it does I had an ivory shade on the lamp before which was brighter but I ve kept it as it s so nice

Beautiful porcelain shade

I wanted to wait until the light was fitted before reviewing it - and now it is fitted and our electrician found this really straightforward and it looks fabulous from the porcelain shade to the pendant fitting to the light bulb I especially liked the ordering process and being guided towards exactly the correct fittings required I m sure we will be ordering more from Pooky
