Poor Product Poor Customer Service
I bought a lawn mower from Ryobi in the fall when it went on sale I opened it used it once and then it would not start I got it fixed it worked once and stopped working Customer service was useless and expect me to drive 1 hour each way during the week when I work for it to get repaired again and likely not work I am beyond frustrated Will not refund me Will not buy any of their products in the future and will not recommend them to anyone as they are garbage and their customer service sucks

No warranty service
The cheap plastic tabs broke that hold the mulching chute to my mower Now grass gets stuck underneath and it kills the battery fast Ryobi said they would have it fixed for free but the service center has sat on it a month and every time I called asked what was wrong with it They did nothing Trying to call Ryobi customer service no one will take a call or get on a chat Zero service

Ryobi Warranty is Useless
Buyer Beware Ryobi Warranty Meaningless Suggest your decision to buy not buy a Ryobi product be made as if it had no warranty because it may as well not have I liked my product but when it broke I spent 50 hours in queue with the Warranty Dept since Mar and NEVER got thru Wrote a letter to HQ in Jun No response Ystrdy their phone system offered a call back 5 more hours lost waiting but got a Manager who offered a call back at 8 00 this AM It is now 12 30P no call product still broken no warranty help warranty now expired

I need a new electric drill
I need a new electric drill A friend recommended Ryobi I looked online and realized that I had multiple questions that needed to be answered before I could make the right choice So I called Robyi s 1-800 I was on hold for 3 hours and 45 minutes literally Perverse though it might sound I wanted to know just what it would take to get a person to talk with me If I cannot get someone to help me with a purchase I can only imagine what it would be like if I needed support after a purchase was made I tried chat to request a number for a sales representative but that was useless I was given the 1-800 number I was on hold with The kicker is that at 3 hours and 45 minutes the female rep who finally answered hung up on me So much for my choosing Ryobi Everything I have written is fact this has been my experience with Robyi today DREADFUL

Buyer beware
I have purchased quite a number of tools from Ryobi but unfortunately missed the small print regarding the extended warranty my mistake however I sent an email to Ryobi as my blower was nevertheless within the 3 year warranty period to express my disappointment in the absolute attitude of the warrenty I wrote to a Mr Lee Goff at Ryobi to express my disappointment who has not had the courtesy to reply or even acknowledge my complaint Totally abysmal customer service and disregard for customer complaints Buyer beware it looks like these tools have about a 2 1 2 year life expectation

Ryobi should be run out of town
Ryobi should be run out of town I own a Ryobi 40 volt lawn mower still under warranty When it stopped working I called Ryobi a 4 hour debacle When I finally spoke to someone he told me that the nearest repair shop was 126 miles from here a town called Mulberry So do they have any suggestions pay for the shipping whatever Hell no The man sounded sympathetic but the final answer is that I own a totally useless 400 mower And Ryobi could not care less The places that sell these white elephants should be ashamed of themselves are you listening Home Depot Ryobi should be run out of business

Ryobi 18gauge brad nailer
I purchased a Ryobi 18gauge brad nailer I also purchased 18gauge 2 brad nails After loading the nails into the nailer I attempted to use it Unfortunately it did not shoot the nails I called Ryobi the get technical support to find out what was wrong After being on hold for 20 minutes I selected 1 for a callback Approximately 1 hour later they called me back I told the operator that I needed technical support She placed me on hold 1 hour and 5 minutes later I hung up I then went on line for a Live Chat and then proceeded to argue with a computer that kept asking me for an order confirmation number I finally logged off of that and am now frustrated with Ryobi and will probably not purchase any more of their products even though I have several Joe

Ryobi garden vacuum blower Bunnings
This is applicable to New Zealand Ryobi have a sole distributor who is Bunnings I have a Ryobi garden blower vacuum model emb1800t bought at least ten years ago and possibly even in the last 15 years ago It has been intermittently used in that period and has proved itself very useful and still operates well Unfortunately bags are unobtainable via Bunnings in NZ so now I have an expensive planned obsolescence garden vacuum blower because I can t use it I now have to replace it and will go for an el cheapo from Mitre10 and hope in ten years time there ll be spare vacuum bags available If not I won t have out layed as much for a garden vacuum blower
