Unable to give subs for common items

Online groceries Stopped using them a year ago after they could not find subs for common items they started to improve when I used them again but now they have gone back to their old ways No subs for eggs Chips and pork Useless Back to other retailers

Have been a regular Sainsbury s customer for decades but feel that standards have fallen both in product quality and delivery service The occasional substitution is ok but recently lack of care in the delivery service means the order is often damaged squashed or leaking in some way Am planning not to renew my delivery pass and go elsewhere

Disappointed

Disappointed so many items unavailable everyday items such as Broccoli stems Have guests staying for weekend now have to rethink one of the dinners planned because no smoked haddock available

Cancelled deliveries due to computer failure should have been made a priority

I have a broken foot so needed a delivery on Saturday Computers went down so I was informed my order was cancelled I tried to book a new slot but non available for 3 days You should have prioritised cancelled orders

Mildly disappointed

We were glad to get a delivery not everyone had that pleasure a few days before but if I book a 4 30 to 5 30 p m delivery I expect it to arrive some time during that hour not at 4 0p m 30 minutes early before I was readcy for it Additionally I was disappointed to have so many substitutes and virtually all the reduced items I had chosen dwere back to the full price

Milk Leaks In Totes Week after Week

The problem is Sainsbury s don t listen to its customer base The milk repeatedly leaks in the totes used for delivery This causes a lot of inconvenience to both the driver and the customer Yet this has been repeatedly highlighted to Sainsbury s on numerous occasions

Everytime I have visited a Sainsburys it hasn t been a pleasant experience Dead flowers out of date stock damaged and dangerous shelving Then last week the outage with zero notification and unable to get another delivery slot I think I am going to give up and use another supermarket

I placed my order in advance for the weekend and on it s due day I got a message saying it would be between 2-3pm Just so happened to look at my email around that time to see that for whatever my card payment had not gone through I had to call and ask that they retry but was told they couldn t get through to anyone to see if the delivery could be made today and that the only time they had now was tomorrow Other than the one email no Notifications on the app no messages and now ive been left without the things I need until tomorrow What s worse is that I had paid with a gift card 50 00 and the balance owed was about 2 pounds so I ve missed my order over a tiny amount When I tried to give feedback the guy said he would stop me there as they have no control on how the systems release notifications and clearly didn t want to hear my feedback I wasn t being rude wont use again anf hope my 50 pounds worth of shopping shows up at some point

All rather hit or miss and mainly more miss

Their loyalty scheme is very weak and biased towards people who can use their app Their staff are poorly trained and very random if you ll receive good service Their promotions are mainly on rubbish mass market food brands and ready meals

Lost a special offer

I tried to redeem a 7-off voucher against a 70 order on the 16th But I didn t get that delivery as there had been an unspecified problem I suspect a hack I made another attempt to redeem that voucher this week but they tell me it is no longer valid - although the original email says it s valid until 30 March I m awaiting resolution of this error
