very good to receive a box and see the colourful contents However we eould appreciate less sweet things and more savory

Gotta love Mochi

The variation is what makes these boxes so interesting and great to get many different tastes and views on the huge choice of food and snacks in Japan I really liked every box so far

Received my Jan box in February what a let down

I extremely disliked the shipping speed at which they dispatch their products not only that but you also have to pay for shipping I received my January box in February and that defeats the whole purpose of buying these boxes Another thing I was really disappointed about were the snacks Out of everything in the box the only thing I actually liked was a Strawberry Crepe the rest of the items were just seafood and spicy stuff It s shame as I know Japan isn t all about seafood or spicy stuff they re other snacks out there and I wish they would have picked out more pastry s or sweet stuff Also I had to contact customer support many times because even though my product was dispatched it was not reflecting the tracking information on the website There is an extremely lack of delayed updates on their site not reliable at all I subscribed to their 6 month package without knowing what I was getting myself into I m just hoping that my February box actually arrives on time and has more appealing snacks smh

Want more savoury snacks

Just personal preference but Kinda wish there were more savoury snacks There was more sweets than savoury and I feel like they should ve done equal parts The savoury snacks were also pre mid too Nothing too too different except for one of them

I liked the goods i received but

I liked the goods i received But sadly a lot of them arived broken maybe the package isn t secured enough i paid a lot for this box and extra for the taxes so thats a bit of a down But i been enjoying the lil snacks i am slowly eating and sharing with my mom

Nice snacks but shipment packaging could be improved

I paid a hefty 10 for the shipping but received a thoroughly battered Sakuraco box with a huge hole at the back Although I got it very fast within 2 days I would have preferred if it was handled or packaged properly to minimize damages When I first saw it I was very disappointed in DHL and in the packaging There was no bubble wrap nor secondary packing nor a note to the courier to handle it carefully Would love to give 5 stars but the experience of paying for expensive shipping and receiving a destroyed box dampened my mood Would really love to keep the nicely designed box as a momento but it s impossible Nonetheless the snacks and sweets inside are pleasing to the eyes and are a good variety I have no doubt that they will taste good

New kind of experience Interesting products Beautiful products -Expensive -Shipping takes a long time to arrive -Lots of salty products that contain shrimp etc -Sweet products are usually small

Quality goods horrible delivery service

The box as a whole is amazing The products are good quality very tasty everything is good about the box itself However the shipping time is horrible For a box full of perishables it s quite awful it takes about 10 days to be shipped after payment and despite the website swearing they re using express delivery it often takes a few weeks for the box to arrive delivered by your local box office The price for the delivery is high and given the perishable nature of the box s content you would expect a quick shipping It s not the case The first boxes I ordered used to be delivered by DHL in less than a week now I m lucky if my box arrives before the next one is out An entire month of delivery is too much especially for the shipping price they make you pay You can t choose your prefered delivery option and you can t even get a tracking number to know the whereabouts of your box I ordered the october box on the 13 and I m still waiting for it when other customers already received their november boxes I hope that when I receive it there won t be any wasted treats that have expired The product is very good quality but the delivery is a disaster

Some issues that need attention

I hate that it s sent just as the box with a shipping label slapped on it Due to this my cookies were completely crushed It also took several weeks to arrive despite the 13 shipping charge Rendering the 5 discount pretty useless Whatever if it s supporting small business in Japan i ll cope But my issue is they are deceptive the box I ordered was supposed to come with a specific plate Without ANY discretion of said plaid selling out they sent me a different one threw in an apology card I would not have ordered if I had known I was getting this other plate The highlight was that plate for me The funny thing is they extended the sale so people could buy more but if you sold out why would you extend the sale It s sketchy for me

Some items missing

I am happy with everything that came in my box however I was missing 2 items Certain treats you are meant to get 2 of including the bunny jam marshmallows and jelly Instead I got one of each and it looks like they substituted a random small donut stick I am sharing the box with my daughter and now only one of us gets the adorable bunny marshmallow Super disappointed
