So near to perfect but

Nearly everything was 5-star in this whole experience of buying my first Mercedes Matthew was superb brilliant BUT the customer service help desk at Mercedes Finance was abysmal so you lost a star The Finance Help desk gets one star Customers need to have a human being answer the phone within 90 seconds like in the Good old Days

The staff were enthusiastic and friendly They also facilitated some of the procedures to get the deal done However the were some issues related to the build of the car related to the multimedia experience The provision of only 1 USB socket is an annoying shortcoming It means only one device can be used at a time ie the dashcam or the mobile phone for charging purposes There is no charging pad or cigarette lighter socket Note that a USB hub cannot be used I guess that s a software issue

service and presentation impeccable would have been 5 stars if there was Not That Much Repeated attachments on your Emails for roles and regulations as customer just buying a car Not undertaking a mortgage very happy with the Car though thank you

Quick processing needs completion Mercedes Me activation

Quick processing However need to get confirmation of Mercedes Me activation which did not go thru although processed as per email I was asked to call contact Cetre which could not help due to IT glitch Await solution Best Vikas kakade

The sales person

The sales person Haytham was very informative when I first visited and went through all the options available for the purchase of my car He also kindly picked me up from the railway station when I picked up the car despite it being his day off

Overall buying process was good

Overall buying process was good But to make the customer a mercedes community member or to engage the loyalty the branch didnt do much I had 2 main request one was a partial payment for ceramic care and a small gift frrom mercedes All were declined I also didnt get my car with a cloth covered which was an initial ritual to give away That is all

Friendly Polite

Friendly polite and courteous staff who were responsive to queries and willing to help Premises was clean tidy and well maintained I didn t use the servicing area but it looked well organised and spotlessly clean The kind of place that is easy to both recommend and to use again in the future Only one fault which is common to most car dealers is finding a parking space can be difficult

Sandwich Dorchester excellent MBUK less so

Sandwich Dorchester were very helpful worked hard to find the right vehicle handover was very clear and informative But the Mercedes Benz UK system for payment is just crazy using a third party finance system that my bank refused to send money to alarm bells ring when the first step in the payment process is to follow a link in an email Sandown helped resolve this but please MBUK get a better payment system

My first MercedesLuke Emily at Newbury MB made it a smooth experience Lots of communication through the process with no hard selling answered any questions I had about the different options organised a really nice handover for the day I picked up the car 4 stars only as during my first wash the bodywork had more than expected iron tar fallout I feel the exterior preparation could have been better

A Good Experience

Sales person very helpful answered all my questions and walked me through the process of purchasing The portal was fairly easy to use although ID info did not seem to be fully linked between Dealer and the Finance people as was duplicated That said very pleased with service and purchase
