Sensa of Disappointment

HiIf you re after some feedback I have a few things to say 1 It seems more than slightly predatory getting people with ADHD - and issues with impulsive behaviour - to pay for the app to get the results of a personality quiz Which I never got anyway Where s my wolf 2 Who designed this Surely as an approach to managing ADHD that relies on habit app notifications should be the default I got a couple of notifications when I first signed up then they stopped I changed the settings so that I d get notifications but still don t get anything MY BRAIN ISN T WELL SET UP TO REMEMBER TO DO THIS MYSELF WHICH IS WHY I VE ONLY USED THE APP 13 TIMES SINCE I PAID FOR IT ONE MONTH AGO3 So I ve downloaded a book and apparently I have a plan somewhere but my actual program is hard to find and relies on having done other stuff and I can t really see my progress so I GIVE UP BECAUSE I HAVE ADHD AND THIS IS HARDThe Sensa app seems incredibly badly designed for the people it is supposed to be helping while a lot of the negative reviews were from people who didn t pay I paid for it and still get almost nothing of use It s supposed to ba an app not a book not an email and btw I haven t got many of those either I wish I could get a refund

False Advertising

Seems like a great wellness app however the Sensa program was marketed to me as a tool to help stop procrastinating It provides nothing of the sort I m sorry but I will be asking for a refund prorated is fine

Don t trust the advertising

This was advertised as an app that would give me a tailored solution to a particular problem of mine specifically procrastination The advert gave the impression that the app was developed specifically for that issue It even included an interactive questionnaire about procrastination In truth it s a generic mental health app The advice it gives isn t awful but it was a bit thin on the ground Do a 5 minute workout Breathe deeply for a few breaths That kind of thing Actually pretty much that and writing about my emotions The task descriptions were short and there wasn t anything in the app to really elevate the experience Breathing exercises can be improved with some animations for example I m giving two stars here because they did actually refund my subscription Even if they did try to con me out of half the refund in the process If this kind of thing is your jam then go for it but I felt like I was mis-sold

No notice of payment due

Be warned that it was my experience they do not make it clear you are signing up for a subscription and they did not provide me any notice before they charged me when the subscription renews Their policy is no refunds I was able to work out a solution to my complaint after several emails with their customer service

No warning -- unethical

I don t actually recall ever signing up for service as I have a great therapist and don t suffer any of the problems they list But then 6 months later without a warning of ANY KIND a renewal came in through my paypal I asked to have the service canceled but they said once the renewal starts there s no refund Think that is unethical not to give a renewal notice ----UPDATE----SENSA HEALTH responded here with an apology inviting me to recontact them I did just that both by email and to their Facebook page and over a week later they offered me a 50 refund inviting me to use their services over the next year I have no interest in their services or I wouldn t want a refund When people have to resort to these tactics you have to question their service

Nice app but charging you too much

It s a really nice app but way too expensive for me And you have to be extremely careful to cancel your subsription 48 hours before the start of new period otherwise you ll be charged full price for the new period And they don t notify you when this time comes This is not so nice Hence only 2 stars

Sensa is a very limited app

Sensa is a very limited app It claims to be of immeasurable help to those with ADHD I did not find this to be the case It allows its user to track a very narrow range of moods after two days this becomes repetitive and boring It does give information about ADHD but nothing of any substance and in a drip by drip fashion It offers prompts and reminders to its users in a simplistic manner It is more suited in design to children rather than adults Spend your money more wisely on a notebook and a well written book or two on ADHD and you will be financially motivationally and educationally far better off It was most disappointing don t bother wasting your time or money

I want to cancel my subscription I can see how to cancel emails but not the monthly subscription I only wanted to see for 1 month if this was beneficial Please show me how to cancel
