Great company

I m very surprised at the bias of negativity towards Shopee and the misunderstandings which show in reviews Shopee is a platform with many thousands of sellers As in all things majority are good but yes occasionally you may get a bad product and or bad experience Just after we moved to Malaysia the Covid Pandemic hit so we have remained at home and have been using Shopee two or three times each week for household items small electronic goods face masks non perishable food items coffee tea etc etc We have made many many orders over the last five months Some items have been disappointing some have been much better than expected and most have been more or less what we thought would arrive We have only returned a couple of items and Shopee has been fully supportive with full refunds being made If you do use Shopee think about what is being displayed if it sounds too good to be true it probably is read the item descriptions very clearly check the ratings and read them Shopee Mall and Preferred Sellers will be less risky as will Local Suppliers With overseas suppliers most of the time we receive what we expect but occasionally we get surprises item too small too flimsy or similar The Shopee platform and applications are fine Shopee is fine but yes you may get an occasional bad experience depending on which seller you choose so try to choose wisely just be careful about which shop you go into to

Very good app

Just like many other e-shopping sites Plenty of products Bought an earring for my wife from Chow Tai Fook Item arrived safely with no issues I tried to change the recipient name after purchase but was informed by seller I had to cancel and place a new order with new delivery details I did just that and I did get my refund back as well Just like in Lazada there are some dubious sellers hence some due diligence and caution is needed If it sounds too good to be true then avoid those sellers Always avoid sellers that do not accept payment via Shopee and asks for transactions outside of the platform Shopee needs to have be more active in verifying legitimate sellers on the platform and also insist that all monies must be transacted via Shopee with an escrow account where payment is only release on successful delivery Of course there will be peddlers of fake goods I would suggest buyers work with Shopee to lodge a report with the authorities to weed out such peddlers

NEVER buy from shopee any thing

I think the reason why most of the reviews here are negative as only people with bad experiences would want to post a review As someone who constantly shops here I like how simple the process is and how user friendly the UI is Although i ve come across a few bad sellers most were willing to help and give advice to my issues The prices on this website is wayyyy cheaper than others but most importantly there arent many duplicate products like on Lazada so it s easy to find what you re looking for As for buyer protection i ve never actually experienced any of these issues before but the money is only released to the seller once you confirm that you received it so I think that s good enough for me
