Something bad has happened with SixStar recently

Something bad has happened very recently with SixStar management I ve used the company several times with excellent service The dedicated concierge concept always worked well Trying to pay the balance of cruise this week via my concierge had no reply to emails still haven t was on endless hold trying to get hold of her then for any concierge tried the sales line and after a long wait got hold of an agent who said my concierge was in the office but busy and someone would call me back Normally my concierge would call back or email straightaway There s been no reply this time Instead it took half a day just trying to pay the cruise balance Can t imagine how they d deal with a complaint or problem Companies that don t answer phones or emails don t deserve business I have a cruise booked with them next year but won t use the company again

No such thing as customer service anymore

I have tried once again to get somebody to put in writing that Azamara will be picking us up and putting us in a hotel due to the fact that they had changed the flight to the day before I only found out by sheer chance that this had happened whilst looking on Airfrances website This was over a week ago and I m still waiting for some sort of confirmation of what Azamara intend to do about this I dread to think what would have happened had I not seen the change of day and flight would anyone have ever got intouch with me Of course Azamara won t speak to me as I booked through Sixstar This cruise is just 2 weeks away now and still no confirmation I wonder if anyone else was booked on the Manchester flight on the 20th July with Airfrance if so I hope they realise their flight has been changed

WE BOOKED AND PAID FOR A SILVERSEAS CRUISE THROUGH SIX STAR CRUISES UNFORTUNATELY SILVERSEAS RESHEDULED THE PORTS OF CALL WHICH WERE NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR US SO GIVEN THE CHOICE OF CANCELLING WE DID SO ON 10 06 23 WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR A FULL REFUND AND HAVING WORKED IN FINANCE I KNOW HOW LONG IT TAKES TO DO A REFUND MINUTES AND NOT THE 30-40 DAYS BEING QUOTED BY THEM THEY ARE BASICALLY SITTING ON OVER 12 000 AND THEY ARE VERY UNHELPFUL WHEN I RING I RANG THIS MORNING AGAIN AND WAS TOLD THAT A TICKET HAS BEEN RAISED WITH THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT AND SOMEONE WOULD RING ME BACK WE SHALL SEE BUT WE ARE VERY UNHAPPY ABOUT THIS AND IT WOULD SEEM OTHERS HAVE HAD A SIMILAR PROBLEM WE WANT TO BOOK ANOTHER CRUISE BUT IF THIS IS HOW IT IS WITH THIS COMPANY WE SHAN T BE USING THEM

Be very wary with 6 star The prices shown online are not actually available and even when you have booked they do not respond to e mails or inform you when your Cruise concierge leaves the company

Four more brochures since last review 5 days ago I have phoned again but obviously this latest plea to be left alone is not worthy of consideration I am now returning all brochures in unstamped envelopes

Six star cruises one star service

Hello On the 10th April I made a telephone enquiry for a cruise from Venice After taking all the details the lady said she would call me back the following day with detailed pricing and the flight information This did not happen 6 days later I rang the given number to hear a message saying they would not take my call and suggested I send an email Here I am left 7 days later looking for an alternative

These people are a pest

These people are a pest I get literature every week sometimes twice or thrice Telephone pleas to give me peace from this harassment promise action but the torture goes on All mail is now returned gone away but this has no effect Buying a holiday from these people must include a huge extra cost for the blanket marketing-do you really want to pay extra for this

SixStarCruises it isn t more like 1 star

We have used SixStarCruises on several occasions to book Silversea cruises We were always pleased with the service we received from Stacey Williams as long as it was all text book stuff Unfortunately our last cruise was cancelled due to unforseen circumstances in the Red Sea The phone call we received from their customer service 3 weeks before departure was cold and matter of fact with no apology We opted for a full refund and were told that it will take a while for it to happen I was in touch with Silversea Guest Relations Manager for other expenses incurred and was informed that Silversea had sent our refund to SixStarCruises and the Finance team had witheld our money for 26 days Unbelievable After a few emails I was told that the Finance department had finally located our money with no apology It s not a package that you misplace they should have been honest and refunded our money straight away How often do they withold customers MONEY Will never book with SixStarCruises again They are quick at taking your money and when things go wrong you are on your own I did copy my email to Alison Earnshaw and nothing from her

I wish I could rate 0 AVOID NO customer service NO voucher refunds or cancellation policy Our experience with six Star cruises was a disaster We were supposed to cruise with SILVERSEA 10 nights in February 2024 WOR-131699 Unfortunately I got a serious illness 3 weeks before and we had no choice but to cancel our luxury cruise I then realised that Six Star cruises Donna Worsnip lied to us twice First she lied by telling us that the final payment was due in November 2023 but claimed it earlier in the beginning of September and did not want to budge Secondly she always assured us that if we had to cancel the cruise for an unforeseen situation we will get a full price voucher for an other chosen cruise Six Star cruises did NOT give us a voucher We lost ALL our money I was in a vulnerable situation and they took advantage of it Shame on them Their REFUNDS VOUCHERS CANCELLATION policies are non existent unprofessional and unethical A truly horrible customer service
