Lack of response to email and to chat line

I recently sent 2 messages to Six star cruises 1 was an email to which I have not had a response The other wax to s chat line to which I was told they were very busy and would call me back in 1hrs 22 minutes I am still awaiting a response

Shoddy service

After booking a cruise in April that was due to depart in July I am still being given the run around regarding a refund The manager was unavailable to speak to today The information I was given I am now told is incorrect The cruise was cancelled on 19 the April and eventually today after contacting them again I was told the money has left their account and on its way back to me I m not holding my breath Next time I will book direct

Six Star Refund Rip-off

Booked a cruise in 2020 Oceania cruise cancelled in April 2021for sailing 15th September we have not received one penny in refund and been told we won t get it until 26th September which is later than we would have actually cruised and returned home Sandie Collier had not even cancelled the flights We have been promised refunds but received nothing We will never book with or recommend Six Star Cruises Six Star Rip-off

booked a cruise the day afterpayment was made you cancelled the cruise 65 days have gone past now you keep making promises to refund the money which you still havnt done even though i have contacted azamara and they confirmed you have had all the money back in full for weeks

Total Misrepresentation and no after sales service

I was very disappointed with the cruise company Sixstar They sold me a cruise and assured me that it was 5star luxury Well it wasn t I spoke to several people on the cruise who had traveled with this cruise line before and they couldn t believe how bad it had become My list of complaints is huge but that s something I need to take up with the cruise company That s where the problem lies The cruise company is Azamara and they are based in the USA and it s virtually impossible to get through to them and to get them to discuss anything with them My main point of contention is that when I was on board I became ill and had to visit the doctor twice When I got back home I applied for a claims form from the insurance company who by the way were recommended to me by Sixstar to claim back the charges incurred The insurance company said that I can t file a claim without showing them proof that I had paid the ship s invoice The ship didn t issue me an invoice all they did at the end of the voyage was to take payment for my extras bill from my credit card I contacted Azamara to ask for a copy of the paid invoice on two occasions they promised to help but basically ignored me So I gave it a while then contacted Sixstar and asked them if they would speak to Azamara on my behalf to obtain my proof of payment They agreed to do so I left it for a fortnight heard nothing so rang them again and I still haven t heard anything from them What annoys me is that they are quick to take your money but very hesitant to help out with any problems 5500 for the cruise 880 for the insurance which by the way you have to have or they won t let you onboard I found all three companies Azamara Sixstar and Just Travel cover to be greedy and money grabbing and have zero customer after sales service The shame is that it has now put me off cruising but if I did go on another cruise i certainly wouldn t book through Sixstar I spoke to Sixstar after they read and replied to my review They apologised and assured me that they would help me by contacting the cruise company on my behalf Weeks later not a word All they do is pay lip service but do nothing at all As long as they have your money that s all they re interested in Nice little thing they ve got going here Azamara won t let you travel unless you have health insurance Sixstar recommends the insurance company but the company refuses to pay the claim in fact they won t allow you to claim unless you have proof of payment and the cruise companies refuse to get the proof of payment for you

Avoid this company

Avoid this company They are not truthful and hold money that they have no right to continue to hold See other low star feedback before you risk doing anything with them as this is a common complaint We called about a cruise with Azamara They took a deposit without any information being provided regarding whether it was refundable or not This can be proved with the call recording Later that same day we had a return call from Azamara to a message we had left and it transpired we could do the same trip with them at a lower cost and with better benefits My husband called the following morning to cancel the SixStar Cruises trip and only then was told the deposit was not refundable and that the money had already been paid to the cruise line We have taken this up with our bank as a disputed payment When we booked directly with Azamara they did not say that they already had a booking in our name so they had not received the information at that time from Six Star They still have not This is an unacceptable way to treat customers Moreover Six Star Cruises are untruthful and wrong and this is based on their own website information which says You will be required to pay a deposit or make full payment for your booking at the time of booking Where you only pay a deposit you must pay the full balance by the balance due date notified to you If full payment is not received by the balance due date we will notify the Organiser who may cancel your booking and charge the cancellation fees set out in their Terms and Conditions All payments we collect from our customers are done so in our capacity as a retail agent and are therefore promptly forwarded to the Organiser it is the Organiser who holds the money you pay in respect of the holiday In the event that a refund is due to you please note that it is the Organiser who holds your money and whose responsibility it is to return it to you As your Agent we will liaise with the Organiser on your behalf and upon those monies being returned to us we will forward those monies to you without undue delay This is totally contradicted by Azamara s website where it says all monies you pay to one of our authorized travel agents for your holiday with us will be held by the agent on your behalf until we issue our confirmation invoice After that point your agent will hold the monies on our behalf until they are paid to us

Very disappointing service from Sixstar

Very disappointing service from Sixstar Claim by Sixstar - dedicated cruise concierge Yes but allocated 5 months after booking and 10 days into the cruise I had a call direct from the cruise operator in the USA to tell me that my departure flight had been changed to a different airport less convenient and time because the original had been put back by the airline No fault of the operator or Sixstar knowing the current and well publicised problems of flight re-schedules and cancellations He assured me that he would email me directly and also to Sixstar who he expected to email me with confirmation This was only 3 weeks before departure and so important to me to re-arrange travel to and from different airports After not hearing for a week I called Sixstar and was told someone would check for an email from the cruise operator - should I really had to have prompted this should it not been part of their procedure Most attempts to call were frustrated by long waiting times and on an occasion when I emailed my question all I received was the automated reply telling me that Sixstar were experiencing a high volume of queries There was never a reply to my email When I first saw the cruise advertised I questioned the sales person in terms of if something looks too good to be true it often is We joked about this and although the cruise was excellent this comment certainly applies to the service from Sixstar

What a company They never refund your money

What a company If you need their help forget it They said they would give me a refund but it doesn t happen I note that many others share the same experience I will stick to Trailfinders in future Six Star Cruises are not on the customer s side Stay clear

Do no not book a cruise with this

Do no not book a cruise with this company They never ring you back to sort ongoing problems for months It is the worst service I have ever recieved for a cruise costing many thousands They are not even one star my advice would be book direct with cruise company not an agent

Melissa was very helpful and friendly

Melissa was very helpful and friendly she made booking our dream cruise a breeze It s a shame that 2 days later Regent cancelled the cruise but I didn t find out until I rang Sixstar a week later
