35 minutes agoCustomer service needs some improvement but overall okWe purchased an underfloor heating system from Soleheat The delivery was quick but after the system was fitted it transpired that the thermostat was broken and therefore the system would not properly function We reported this to Soleheat who required that we purchased a new unit on the promise they would refund the old one on receipt of the faulty product After some negotiation Soleheat agreed to refund a portion of the postage of the return however despite both us and two plumbers verifying that the unit was faulty on returning the item which was refunded Soleheat stated that the item was not faulty and therefore they would not refund us the postage and they should charge us a fee as they were out of pocket Their customer service was overall disappointing given the tone of the emails verging on rude the fact that they never apologised despite that we had the inconvenience of a non-working system and that we had to pay out twice for same product albeit with the second fee subsequently being refunded pay again for the plumber to fit the new thermostat as it was a faulty product and not his workmanship and pay 10 to return the faulty item to them
