Will not return to Hull store

No greeting no acknowledgement that I was even there until I was mucky looked by a woman with ginger-ish hair shop looked like a jumble sale very messy The star is only for the woman with short hair and a man with dark hair who I spoke to at the counter seemed friendly enough Only went to have a look but didn t feel like I could buy anything as I felt really intimidated

No frills shopping

Made and order online it wasn t delivered on time when I contacted the customer service team I got a one sentence reply It then still never arrived I emailed again and got another one sentence reply to say it was delivered Never received and email or txt - nothing to tell me this had been delivered I checked the order status and this gave no update either The team in store at the Buchanan Galleries store were really good though I can t fault those guys

No sales

I saw a pair of shoes for 246 95 in december I watched them again now and they are 250 95 So no sales instead the price is even more then before Unbelievable I send an e mail but no answer to my question I will not buy here

Stiching bust and insole worn through in 2 weeks

Very poor experience new trainers lasted 2 weeks before falling to pieces not even sure they were genuine with the build quality on a par with chilten mills I would never buy Penguin trainers again

For the love of god answer an email once in a while

Ordered two pairs of boots - One only arrived Then I was notified the other set in my order had been cancelled I did not cancel it I did not receive an explanation I certainly will not recommend this company nor order from them again They re not even good value for money Get your act together please And for the love of god answer an email once in a while - maybe

Delivery time is good Shocking customer service

Delivery time is good however I returned goods due to sizing and a faulty pair for exchange Customer service is non existent via phone or email I did get a response once I opened a case via PayPal Told they couldn t send replacements due to no stock total lie as I re orded straight away and to expect a refund in 2 3 days No mention of return postage cost

After sending me the complete wrong new

After sending me the complete wrong new balance trainers I had to pay 3 to return them Spoke to Rayne via email at customer service who was very helpful and immediately refunded both the money for the trainers and for the postage I then had to reorder the original trainers and thankfully the correct ones came although it showed the wrong colour again on my order form The matter did eventually get resolved but these were a present for my daughter s birthday which obviously she didn t get on time

Very high duty and taxes to pay - be warned

I haven t received the shoes yet but I had to pay an extra 65 CAD in duties and taxes - almost doubling the cost of the shoes I m quite disappointed even though I understand that we need to pay these fees However I did not expect them to be so high Had I known I would have purchased from a different retailer or tried to find the shoes in Canada Perhaps offering a few shipping choices to customers would be better regular post fedex DHL etc I just hope the shoes will be worth it
