My connection to TorGuard kept

Hello Torvpn does not work with netflix amazon box Mail like orange and some other website so I wonder why the useful value of having Torvon if I have to always disconnect it to use those website above Otherwise Torvpn seem to do its job but not entirely So I will not use it more time for a high price monthly

Good service but there is room for improvement

My connection to TorGuard kept disconnecting while I was out of the country in Mexico Every time I picked up my phone I had to check to see whether the VPN was connected spending six weeks away in Mexico It got tiresome

Requested review

Some apps doesn t work with tor guard enabled and I have to try some other locations or just pause majority of the cases Sometimes the connection speed gets slow but in this case I don t if it have to be with the app itself but strangely when I pause the connection gets faster

Breaks DNS

1 My download speed is significantly slower with Torguard running 2 Often nothing will download even though there are tons of seeds and I have to reboot computer to get downloading up and running 3 Not being a computer person not sure what to do to improve experience For the record I run a fibre to the premises 250Mbs internet service with a top provider so that should not be the source of the issues

Overall good experience

Works but on my Linux system after disconnecting often leaves my DNS in a state where the connectivity fails etc resolv conf still contains its nameservers Also Android app server scroll list is impossible to control to get to desired server No way to scroll it slowly or step one server at a time

Solid but plenty of Torguard IPs are blocked

Overall the Torguard VPN worked well once everything was up and running I never did figure out how to get it to connect automatically on Windows start up I had to start it manually I also had some issues with it not waking up after the computer was restarted after being in sleep mode for a while I found the customer support process clunky and difficult I was satisfied with the VPN when it was up and running

The support is good but beware

The service seems solid no disconnections so far but in reality a bit of hit and miss In particular I surprisingly realized some Torguard IPs are blocked in a couple of countries I have tried and some popular websites are showing the dreaded Cloudflare IP blocked page and not reachable This seems such a shame in 2023 with all the other VPNs doing a better job at rotating IPs I even tried their Streaming IP to no avail Support is prompt to answer but in one occasion the person completely misread my messages In the others the problem of IP blocking was dismissed

Good VPN but Bad interface

The support is good some might say excellent My problem with Torguard is they didn t honor the refund agreement for premium proxy service trial period I tried the service and decided it wasn t for me and ask for a refund well within the trial period Torguard instead offered credit When I ask to apply the credit a few months later I was offered half of what I initially paid as credit Long story short is I decided to leave Torguard

When It was working It was great but

The VPN service itself was awsome fast and pretty much reliable But the main issue that I had was with the application itself I kept getting an error about the OpenGL driver or something like this and it was quite painful to start the software

Not terrible not amazing

When It was working It was great but sometimes it didn t work at all you had to make more adjustments manually they gave a good discount but when I paid by crypto for only 3 Trx they cut more than one month of service they could just add 3 Trx at the beginning of payment support team were as expectedThank you Torguard
