Disappointed you did not search the market for competitive deals in a timely manner

When I eventually spoke to a human being all was well

No details sent much higher price and auto-renewed

Unfortunately I made a poor choice by paying for an insurance policy before it started with Towergate Insurance I changed my mind before the policy started and spoke to three customer service agents asking to cancel the policy and was assured that I would get a complete refund of the total amount paid These three agents were very polite and were very good at trying to help with my request and any queries When I noticed that the refund was not processed I spoke to another two agents who assured me that I will be refunded These two agents were also polite and a pleasure to speak with I have also emailed Towergate Insurance to ask for an update but have not heard back yet I really wanted to be able to write a positive 5-star review for Towergate as your customer service agents are just a pleasure to deal with but I need to see that my refund is processed ASAP I have been waiting 6 days okay 2 days were the weekend and reading other reviews where people have had similar problems does not help I have put in this TrustPilot review as you sent me an email to ask for a review Please Towergate Insurance honestly I had put you down as my next go-to insurer after my experience with your agents BUT I would like to see the company acting quicker on issues I hope to be able to change this review into a positive review Comments after receiving Towergate s response on Trustpilot to my review Towergate just before sending in my review I had put in a request via your website s option to ask for Towergate to contact me by phone Please check your logs as you have my details Thank you Further update a week after my initial review Thank you to the Towergate Insurance team who have followed-up on my review I have now received the refund even though I had also received an email to say that refunds would take up to 60 days The staff at Towergate Insurance have been excellent at dealing with my queries whenever I have spoken to someone It would have been a lot better though if Towergate responded to my email quicker before I had to send in a Trustpilot review After my initial conversations with the first two agents I was very impressed with Towergate s customer service Thank you to all your helpful customer service agents I have now revised my 1-star rating to 3 stars Would really have liked to have given you 5 stars right at the beginning

Rung you last week change my address Your system went down so you said You said you would ring me back You did not The hanging on for an advisor seen to suggest you don t have many due to the wait

Employ more people We don t have the time to stay on the phone for 15 to 20 mins listening to music and someone keep telling us everyone is busy

Your quote was to high compared to other on web sites only use you as I had not got time to go look on other sites

contacting to renew a policy was fraught with problems however when these were solved it was pretty straight forward and very reasonably priced in comparison with other insurance companies I recomend Towergate

35 increase this year as my reward for not claiming last year Existing customer feeling glum in this time when money is tight

The rep was fine but I m left wondering whether my policy has been cancelled as I wasn t give a new email address to send my doucments as promised
