Disappointing Customer Service
Unfortunately we were involved in an accident 20 12 24 Third party crashed into the rear of our vehicle Third party offered to repair and apologised confirming liability Reported to Trinity Lane via email contact form on day to request advice no reply and telephoned following day within 24 hours Expressed intention to claim on third parties insurance using Trinity to facilitate Calls from several intermediaries providing confused information and blurring the lines as to which company is actually dealing with our claim Constant pressure to pay 600 excess before contacting third parties insurer prior to establishing liability I have explained that as a no fault accident I am claiming on third parties insurance If third party is not insured or disputes liability the damage is not cost effective to claim on my insurance It s now 9 days since accident and Trinity Hadleigh have failed to demonstrate any empathy or resolution Communication has been scant aside from efforts to extract payment for excess and numerous attempts to generate additional income via shared arrangements with intermediaries If a pedestrian is hit by a car there is no requirement for the pedestrian to pay any excess It shouldn t be any different in the case of a no fault claim The majority of negative reviews on Trustpilot highlight the difficulty recovering paid excess from Trinity Hadleigh following no fault claims Approximately 59 of reviews on Trustpilot regarding Trinity Hadleigh are 1 star reviews Generally these receive a response from Trinity Hadleigh requesting further information and no follow up on this forum To enable Trinity Hadleigh to provide an explanation of their service on this forum the reference is AUX690818 If the third party that crashed into my car claimed from Trinity Lane the Trinity Lane website states By accepting our services you ensure that your no claims bonus remains unaffected You won t need to pay any excess Essentially they extend a better service to people that aren t insured by them If Trinity Hadleigh refuse to pursue third parties insurer without first receiving payment for excess I intend to complain to insurance regulators Insurance Ombudsman and Mr James Wild MP for Kings Lynn where Trinity Hadleigh have their registered office I will update this review when further information received so other consumers can follow progress Update Reply from Trinity Lane requesting further information despite part reference given as above If Trinity Lane respond to negative review and reviewer doesn t respond within 3 days review can be flagged and removed Information provided I am a verified reviewer Please reply on Trustpilot Update E-mail reply from Trinity Lane suggesting confusion relating to claim Advised to claim on third parties insurance once liability and insurer details confirmed Now 12 days since accident and this hasn t been established Advisor denies any pressure to claim on my insurance and pay 600 excess Repeatedly advised Trinity Lane during numerous contacts that we wished to claim on third parties insurance Advised to send any complaints to advisor to review I imagine if the advisor agrees with the complaint regarding his conduct he will escalate Throughout this time all emails from Trinity Lane are unsigned Update Reply to Trinity The reference is correct My name is correct You can locate the claim using this information I hope this is not a cynical move on your part to flag my review Failure to respond to my reply will suggest it is Update Reply to Trinity My postcode is B Please advise me when you have used this information to locate record as I will delete it from this conversation as privacy implications

If I could give one star
If I could give one star I would We were hit by an insured driver who admitted liability It took months to sort out and eventually it was settled but my grievance is that they passed us off to Hadleigh claims management and both conpanies are refusing to get our excess back and have palmed us off to the legal services who are incompetant I would avoid like the plague as I am still waiting for my excess to be returned as well as the costs incured by the accident Customer service is indifferent at best

Absolute robbing conning sumbags My husband had a crash in February 2024 nearly lost his life and was in ICU they have not kept us informed of what has happened Personal injury cover is non existent selling scam cover that doesn t cover you and doesn t get back to you when you send in paper work They are con artists What s this space as I m reporting to the ombudsman FCA and the Association of British insurance Stay away

Unreasonable settlement offers
One month later and I still haven t been offered a reasonable amount for my stolen vehicle Not only that Adrian Flux won t be refunding me a penny for the remaining months insurance that I had from June to November I paid upfront for the year nearly 2000 there are 6 months still remaining you can do the math for what they ve absorbed My cars market value is 9500 which was declared at the agreement if they had a problem with that they should have taken it up with me at the beginning Instead I m now being lumbered with a best offer of 7700 less a 750 excess which I don t remember agreeing to Their first offer was less than 7000 less the excess My car didn t depreciate in value 2500 in six months Adrian Flux and Trinity Lane Insurance Company Limited should be ashamed of themselves

Having a laugh
I ve recently been in contact with this disgracefully run company in respect of the voluntary cancellation of my motorbike policy I insured my Thruxton on a third party basis and was charged 85 00 for the privilege so I ve just enquired about a layed-up policy which they just tried to bend me over for 191 quid What So this extortionate amount was to keep my bike in an alarmed garage and wouldn t be ridden until June 2024 These people need a lesson in not trying to reach into working class people s pockets and taking what they think they have a right to Buncha non- events Steer clear of this woeful company at all costs Disgruntled cockney

Had a small fender bender in a carpark Third party told their insurers as I did mine Nothing more said until I came to renew a couple months later and was refused insurance while an open case was showing No contact from third party insurers since August 2022 its now May 2023 Trinity have said it will in all likelihood settle the third party claim not the attitude i would expect but still waiting for the other insurers to respond with their accident statement form before proceeding This company is a waste of time

Car was taken into the repair garage
Car was taken into the repair garage with very minor bodywork damage When it came out it ran like a tank The engine management light came on The insurance company refused to send the car to the main dealers to investigate the problem They said if I was not satisfied then I could take it to the Lexus dealership and pay for it myself The attitudes of the engineers was appalling They constantly overtalked me and at times resulted to shouting at me The case has gone to the Ombudsman I will be telling everyone I know how poor Trinity insurance is when dealing with the public

Penalised for becoming a student
Penalised for becoming a student I have previously had good experience with Adrian Flux who I insure my vehicle through This changed in the past couple of days however I have recently started a masters degree in social care and called to let them know that I had changed my occupation and address I was told that I can no longer drive other people s vehicles due to these changes When pressed for a reason for this I was told that this was due to the underwriters making these changes which doesn t explain the reasons why I am now deemed uninsurable to drive other people s vehicles I have a totally clean driving history and have been a careful driver for 34 years Having spoken to Adrian Flux they have assured me that the company responsible for this is Trinity Lane as they are the Insuring company Honestly this is completely unfathomable to me
