Avoid - Not Fit for Purpose and Mislead Customers
This insurance company is not fit for purpose Submitted claim for incident to be told that no assessors available and as car was driveable to obtain estimate at a repairer of my choosing as it would be quicker Managed to get to a repairer assessor a few days later The assessor carried out estimate and stated car was unsafe to drive and therefore undriveable Submitted estimate statement of truth etc to Trinity Hadleigh Claims Phoned to check progress to be told it would take 7-10 days to be processed and Hadleigh Claims Trinity would not give me a courtesy car because I chose to go to another assessor Trinity told me to go to another assessor as would be quicker I have been left without a car for 3 weeks with no progress on claim This is the most unprofessional insurance company I have experienced and has been very distressing I will be going with another company next time

no chance of a refund
rip-off merchants i insured my sons car through Sterling insurance which was underwritten by Trinitylane cost was approx 350 he passed his test within 3 months so we used less than 3 months insurance when i called to cancel it i was told that we would receive 40 back due to the way trinity lane calculate and once the cancellation fee of 40 was paid we would receive 0

Another dodgy company
Another dodgy company - part of the Sterling Fraud Cabal Crooks through and through just take Trinity Lane as an alias for Sterling Insurance Sterling-Insurance-Services or Herts Insurance they sell policies from other pal companies and so are effectively marking their own copybooks to rip people off and escape liability Reported to FCA Ombudsman

Had a no fault claim
Had a no fault claim and told the car was a write off and gave a low offer 6000 I refused and waited another week for the in house engineer to assess why not do this initially I have chased them for their engineer to now value at 9500 and that they will repair it It is now 3 weeks and still at the same point as after the collision and awaiting a call from the body shop No courtesy car no apology Avoid this company at all costs

No Refunds
Took out learners insurance for my son through Sterling Insurance who used Trinitylane for the policy My son has now passed his test There is still 6 months left on this insurance but they will not give any refund The cover is also null and void the second the insured passes their test What a scam One year later Trinitylane are now trying to get this comment taken down by asking for proof How about asking at the time when we had all the paperwork You know full well how your policies work and my comment ifs correct

Avoid this insurer
Had a driver smash in to my vehicle and in turn its written off It took 2 weeks for them to collect the vehicle and in turn last left at the side of the road They don t action anything without you chasing Sadly my mistake not reading the fine print but they offer nothing in the way of hire vehicle etc I ve been without a vehicle for almost a month and having to cancel a holiday and pay for travel daily is becoming a joke They don t show any interest when calling and appear blas about it all Wouldn t recommend them as an insurer

Be prepared to lose learner driver premiums
Be aware no doubt Sterling Insurance are no different to other companies offering learner driver policies I insured my daughters car through Sterling insurance the insurer was Trinity Lane Paid the policy in full upfront for 12 months cover She passed her test within 6 months when I called to cancel it I was told that Trinity lane would issue approximately half of the premium back However Sterling said Trinity Lane would then take back a cancellation fee commission fee and of the remaining refund Sterling would take their cancellation fee so effectively the refund we would get back would be less than 10 of the premium paid Not bad for 6 months driving
