F-type LED daytime running light
F-type LED daytime running light faulty MY2018 LED Jaguar F-type headlamp has a faulty daytime running light The LED headlamp cluster that should last the life of the car has developed a fault with the left hand daytime running light just out of warranty Mine is not unique there are over 30 others on Facebook with the same problem on their MY2018 cars and just the left hand one There are also several postings on the F-type forums on the matter This would suggest an inherent problem with these lamps If it was only a few to replace then we re not going to get upset However at 2 200 VAT per unit it works out a rather expensive repair for the car Valeo were contacted and couldn t care less

One star is actually one too many
Who knew the Cibie brand is now owned by Valeo I bought a pair of their led Mini Oscars At 200 each these aren t cheap I lost or had stolen one of the covers Anybody who runs auxiliary lights knows this is pretty common I contacted Valeo who claim they cannot obtain them This of course is complete b locks as one comes in the box with every light What they mean is they can t be bothered to make them available So be warned and if possible avoid buying their products as they are a company who care nothing for their customers once they ve pocketed the cash
