Poor quality paint

I used Valspar Paint once in 2015 the premium range was thick and true washable Recent experience is not so I bought the premium 700 emulsion paint dark colourm base C Two coats and 3 days later it is not only patchy but also very easy to chip off I run a damp cloth over it it takes off the colour Very frustrated as the small room took me two day to complete compares to another similar size room with different brand only half a day one coat

I really do not know what other people are doing to have such a bad time with the Valspar paint I personally love it it goes on lovely 90 preparation 10 asthestic I have used many of the different ranges garden emulsion both 500 700 which is amazing for washing off marks to gloss and they are all easy to apply no patches covers beautifully and us my preference firm other brands

V700 Paint is great

I used the V700 paint in Clotted Cream colour I can t comment on other products However this particular one worked really well for me I m a novice decorator and I have pretty much used V700 throughout the house Preparation is key - I did a mist coat on the bare plaster before doing two coats of this product The paint itself is water based so relatively easy to clean afterwards and no awful smell I have used Dulux before and I still think Valspar is better Also the colour range is amazing

Valspar I love your paint but your lids

Valspar I love your paint but your lids are crap Not at all easy to open this might put me off buying your paint in future

BQ paint

Had the equivalent of farrow and ball stone blue mixed Applied with a roller and more than happy with the result but needs a minimum of 2 coats Would use again

Love Valspar

I have used this in every room of my house now Love this paint so many colours I always use the premium or trade and I just love how little mess it makes - it doesn t flick off the roller so I don t end up covered in paint And the fact you can scrub it down - which I have in the Kitchen amazing

Good paint great choice of colours

Have never painted walls before but with Valspar it s very easy Happy with the coverage and colours are amazing

Valspar Great service and very generous

Was given a refund on my paint simply because the shade I chose wasn t quite right Fantastic policy It was also superb quality paint and covered in one coat I ll always use this brand from now on
