I was looking around for reputable hair transplant clinics in Turkey and ended up messaging a few Vera being one of them They messaged back promptly on WhatsApp and all seemed ok until I was called a completely different name after stating clearly what my name is I was sent another patients analysis and this put me off After receiving the other patients information I stopped replying to Vera clinic as I thought it was a bit weird subsequently they began to bombard me with messages and calls every day for about 3 months which seemed very unprofessional They seemed desperate for me to have the transplant with them I have a funny feeling about this clinic and I suspect they are not professionals and in fact fraudsters Be careful if you are thinking about choosing this clinic

All the reviews are fake Don t trust them at all Believe me My father went there for dental implants and they made a horrible job There is infection bone loss and use weird brands that aren t internationally recognized Don t waste your money

This is not a surgery review but I am reporting my experience with Vera Clinic I am located in Germany and tryed to get an analysis and hence an offer from them I reached out to them via phone whatsapp and mail but no response at all From every other clinic I received more or less immediate response but not from Vera When I call them no one answers the phone This is very poor They will definitely not get my money

My experience with VERA CLINIC Istambul Turkey Usually I don t like to give bad comments but I am really not happy this time so I am going to tell everyone avoid VERA CLINIC Read the following I did a hair transplant with Vera Clinic They told me they will need to harvest 5000 grafts to cover the top of my head from the front to the back not including my hair line that was still good Then they propose me to do an extra transplant the next day bring he total garft harvested to 7500 I know that seems a lot and it is a lot To make it short after a year and half the results are bad I investigated and got the explanation from someone who worked there They increase the density of the hair in front as they say that is the part that everyone sees and they leave the back empty So when I look at myself in the mirror I am happy But as soon I see the back crown I am depressed So just to let yo know I am not the only one who complained from this procedure the guy who worked there told me that many people complained from the same practice And Vera aleays finds tons of excuses like it is the age etc I sent my pictures to another clinic and they told me that the solution was to do an additional transplant for the crown around 3000 grafts But the best was that they were 100 sure that Vera never transplanted 7500 grafts They told me the maximum they must have done was 5000 But I still paid for 7500 grafts CONCLUSION AVOID VERA CLINIC Oh and I forgot the funny part they emailed me a year after giving me 10 discount to implant more hair like if they new about it There are lots of great clinics there do your search Sorry VERA noting personal I am just an unhapy customer or victim

Think some of these reviews are questionable seeming as when I was researching a few months ago Vera clinic was rated above 3 and now it has jumped up to almost 5 on most of these review sites I decided to go with them to get my hairline brought forward as they seemed pretty consistent with creating natural looking hairlines and their process seemed quite open and well documented The clinic hotel and translators were very nice which were the positives I was quite disappointed immediately after my procedure Not one person was consistently present throughout the procedure and the hairline was obviously different from what was drawn it was drawn to come to a point in the middle of my forehead which it doesn t now I told myself this wasn t the end of the world and that the unevenness might be due to swelling the right side corner is higher than the left side It s been a few months and it s grown out the direction that the transplanted hairs have been inserted isn t consistent with my natural hair The left side is ok but the right side doesn t blend in very well and pushes up against my natural hair They have multiple people working on you at any given time during the procedure which is sold as a positive but as with my results can lead to inconsistencies I was told the procedure would be done by multiple people mostly trained personnel rather than actual doctors but a doctor would be overseeing the procedure The doctor wasn t present much at all and I think if he had more presence and was present in all the stages of the procedure then it might have been more consistent and followed closer to what I asked My hairline isn t a complete disaster I think it mostly has a natural look to it and it mostly fulfils the reason I got a hair transplant I do think it could have easily been done better and I do regret choosing Vera clinic

It has been now one year when I visited them for transplantation Their service was good Everything wad provided since the time of stay until day of surgery within the cost included However my result is not satisfactory even after 1 year of surgery I raised my concern since 3rd month with proof that the grafts are not as per they claimed of 3490 grafts on the certificate I am still using their products but until now my grafts are falling 8-10 hairs daily and there are eventually less than 2000 grafts as of today I have sent them my head pics after every 3 months There is no thickness at the fornt head and crown area barely has transplanted hairs Having said that their customer service is really good but the final outcome of my surgery is highly unsatisfactory which requires a corrective surgery at their own expense Because this is not what I was expected from Vera Clinic

I booked my procedure and travelled to Turkey last year to get a hair transplant of 3 500 grafts I question this done Travel Accommodation The chauffeur and 5-star hotel were all very good but unfortunately these were not the crucially important parts of the trip Surgery The following morning after I arrived I was brought for my consultation at the K kbakkalk y I hope I have this correct clinic the young doctor for this piece was very dismissive of any queries or suggestions I had and seemed in a rush to move on to the next patient clearly focused on numbers Immediately after this I was brought downstairs bloods taken and prepped for the surgery hair shaved and photos taken after each step A young man did the harvesting of the grafts from the donor area followed by two ladies who did the implanting of the grafts in the recipient area This initially appeared to go smoothly After this I was brought downstairs and a doctor came to examine my head after the surgery Immediately he called in the lady who did the implanting on the right side of my head He spoke in Turkish but it was evident he was not satisfied with the work done on that side and the lady surgeon did not seem to care he then just walked out I asked the translator what had happened and she said Don t worry everything is fine clearly knowing I would not know what was said due to the language barrier- beware of this as they will often use this to their advantage The following days after this it was evident that the grafts were much less dense on my right side of my head compared to my left and there was even an empty area Obviously I said to myself this was too soon to draw conclusions and hoped that time would eventually tell and it would be OK Results Unfortunately my were fears confirmed With 11 5 months post surgery 95 of the follicles should have grown in by now or at least be visible i e one would have a very idea of the results at this stage Currently I have very little hair on the right side donor area even after growing out the transplanted grafts I have to use my original hair to cover a lot of the area as it is so light The left side is much better but obviously this doesn t really matter if both sides are not aligned I will undoubtedly need to get this repaired another transplant which is truly upsetting Post-Surgery Support I just also wanted to mention that the support following surgery is extremely poor and almost non-existent- for the first 3 months there was good support whereby I would send in my update photos and the doctor would give feedback via Whatsapp However following submitting my 6-month update photos I raised some concerns about the lack of density I got no reply so I asked again for an update and the person operating the Whatsapp came back and said They will respond to you when it is available That was 3 months ago and I never heard anything since which makes one feel truly alone on the recovery journey For people reading this and planning to do a transplant all I would advise is please research the clinics in-depth I wish I had done this I have a good friend who went to another popular clinic unsure if I m allowed to name it and had very good results and I really do wish I did the same NOTE The experience is a year long one hence why I set it for March

With a heavy heart I share today my personal chronicle of despair experienced at Vera Clinic in Istanbul At first glance it seemed like I had found a sanctuary for my troubled hair but reality quickly transformed into the shadow of sorrow and disappointment On June 10 2022 I entered the seemingly illustrious doors of this clinic with the hope that my hair would come back to life Instead I witnessed the merciless downfall of my dreams In a few hurried minutes I was entrusted to the hands of technicians claiming to be professionals and Dr G khan Vayni was opening the channels I paid a respectable sum of 3250 EUR investing not only money but also my trust However the results were devastating Out of 4800 transplanted grafts only a few lost strands remained The survival of my new beginning disappeared as quickly as I was led out of the operating room Looking in the mirror now shows me not only my physical reflection but also the reflection of lost opportunities and shattered dreams The once-promising certificate of guarantee now feels like cynical irony I was even recommended to take Finasteride 1mg for five months Really In my forties when the effectiveness of this chemical mixture diminishes I should be treated this way And all without the supervision of a doctor of course My money was lost and my hopes were thwarted Particularly painful is the realization that I am not alone I am just one of many who were led through this clinic like on a conveyor belt Lost hope and a heart shattered into pieces are now my daily companions Despite my dark experiences I must give credit to Mirela the contact person from Vera Clinic Her communication was always fantastic even though the results of the surgery were bitter This cautionary tale is not just a cry into the void but an honest warning for those considering a journey to Vera Clinic in Istanbul My story is not isolated and if anyone is going through a similar dark period please let me know UPDATE I would like to share the latest developments regarding my hair transplant Some time ago I shared my feelings where I was dissatisfied with the clinic s results Now they have offered me a second transplant where they will try to fix the hair loss after the first unsuccessful attempt This procedure will be free of charge I am very pleased with this gesture The biggest thanks again go to Mirela with whom I have been communicating the whole time I think she has a big influence on the whole thing and I am very grateful that she has been trying to support and help me from the beginning I will undergo the next transplant at the end of April and I will keep you informed about the whole process I hope that this time the results will lead to my complete satisfaction

I have done few weeks before The procedure was eight hours the bed specially neck support was horrible all went well except after post surgery no one able to be contacted no post surgery support or help since i have return no support person available there was no food were ask during 8 hours of time because technician were in rush to complete the procedure Procedure is done by technicians who are trained at clinic not a specific education from any institute Once you leave Turkey you are your own no support available after Technician perform the local anesthesia not the anthologist you are in the hand of tech who is doing local anesthesia without knowing the consequence poking needles in your head so he or she can complete their job as quick as possible without disturbance Your head get so bumpy stay like that for months I did follow up and someone emailed me once after my review But that is all about it Please find a place where Experienced Dr involved their self not a uncertified technicians Plus they try to sell over price B S stuff which is irrelevant
