Would highly recommend this company In my first year with VetsMediCover I had a claim I was so worried that it might take a while to get sorted However the claim was paid quickly to my vet directly The claims process was very easy and the customer service was great Amazing service

Claim experience

First time I have used pet insurance and the first time I have ever claimed on any insurance policy Staff I have spoken to were very understanding polite and helpful If you read and understand your policy you will have no issues with this company I have no hesitation in recommending They have been supportive and paid for my dogs treatment without any unnecessary delays

Recent claim

My dog stopped eating and drinking we took him to the vets and he was put in hospital for 3 days I was asked to give a claim form to the vets I contacted their claim line and had a claim form in minutes Our vets handled the claim and I was sent an email about a month later from vetsmedicover saying the claim had been settled I even received a call a few weeks later asking how the experience was and how my dog was doing

Claim experience - highly recommend

Unfortunately our pet dog broke his femur last year which resulted in a costly operation to fix requesting a claim form was easy and simple and from receiving the confirmation email that all forms had been received from our vet to being refunded all our costs took no more than 10 days A couple of continuation claims have had to be made since due to an infection in the bone that was operated on but the claims that followed have been dealt with quickly and all costs paid out Thank you for making an extremely stressfull time just a little easier without the added worry of not being able to afford the correct treatment

Excellent service helpful staff definitely recommended

Took out a policy for our new rescue dog October 2020 very competitive quote but after a bad experience with a well known insurance company for another pet I was rather sceptical of what this new policy would provide The vet recommended having Charlie s dew claws removed as they were causing him much discomfort catching on things and were having to be trimmed every couple of weeks which caused him stress The cost was almost 700 which I paid upfront doubtful the claim would be successful It did take a few weeks to be processed due to staff illness but an advisor rang with an update and was very helpful A few days later I received an email stating the claim was successful and paid in full I was relieved and surprised as it was an enormous financial pressure having had over 1 000 in vet bills for an uninsured elderly cat over the last few months I was so grateful and can t thank Vets Medicare enough This experience has definitely reassured me that not all pet insurances are a rip off and it is possible to have a successful claim Would definitely recommend Thank you everyone

We had a claim recently the whole process was very simple and easy to do We would definitely recommend We also had a call afterwards to check how our dog was getting on Definitely the best service of any pet insurer I ve had previously
