As someone who strongly believe that I she is a Parent to Children Globally and I belong to numerous Charities both for adults and children However during Covid-19 I made the decision to Sponsor a child and Choose Henly I felt a connection to him i e the other Son I have always wanted and it is as a great honour to make a real difference in his life It is incredible to sponsor a child by World Vision where it is easy to get in touch and access a wealth of information about the work they are doing I get regular communication with updates videos and letters that are uplifting and inspirating encouraging me to do more I felt honour on receiving my First Letter from my Sponsor Child and the contents warm my heart

World Vision has good communication with its child sponsors There are regular updates and videos reminders to send birthday and Christmas cards The website is easy to use and being able to send letters photos etc online is very convenient

Rich and rewarding

After over thirty years of sponsorship I am still excited to receive reports and photographs of my children World Vision is very good at helping sponsors to maintain contact with their child and to keep us informed of their individual progress and also of the community as a whole Over time the use of technology has made it much easier to feel connected and I have really enjoyed the occasional webinars that are so informative about the broader aspects of my sponsorship and also about the projects that take place elsewhere However the very best aspect is that we can see where our children live and get a glimpse into their lives So please I would urge anyone considering sponsoring with World Vision to make the commitment and join a wonderful organisation

We have sponsored three children through World Vision The first two were boys in Ethiopia so when one of the projects was ending I asked to sponsor a girl instead I spoke to a lovely lady who ensured that next time I was able to sponsor a little girl from Mozambique I have been very happy with the service World Vision provide and it s good to help others in the world who need a helping hand

Being a World Vision child sponsor is something I would recommend to anyone A little money from the U K goes a very long way in the poor areas where World Vision works It s really humbling to see my donations have a positive effect on a child s future and also on that child s community I ve done this since the 1980s and I hope to continue as long as I can

An inspiration and a joy

My wife and I have been sponsors with World Vision for as long as we ve had our own children now 29 and 27 I think we are on our fourth wee boy It is amazing to see the individuals and the communities World Vision support grow and develop Recently we moved from a completed project in Senegal to a new location in Nepal World Vision are excellent in guiding your experience with reminders for birthdays and Christmas etc In recent years improvements with the online side of things make contact and communications much easier I would recommend sponsorship and World Vision especially to everyone
