Zoom is okay to use for the most part

Zoom is okay to use for the most part However I feel like the UI can be too complicated and the ease of use can improve by a lot With other video chat tools like Skype or Discord I can invite anyone and everyone so easily as well as hopping on call I can do that with zoom but it just takes a lot more step and a lot of finding and figuring things out

Zoom is good

Zoom is good - but please fix the fact that you can mirror the screen correctly only on the front or back camera Basically you can t do that contemporary on both cameras the result is quite annoying - then all good

ZOOM US except their CS is dead slow or stop

I have to award 3 stars because ZOOM US generously allows people to use their technology and software portal to conduct audio video communications for between 45 minutes and an hour - for free but I have been very disappointed with their customer service as a fee paying customer I won t pay for a second year Brings to mind the line from Erin Brockovich in which lead actor Albert Finney asks star Julia Roberts if they teach beauty queens how to apologise because like ZOOM s customer service they so far seem to suck at it

Love Zoom and will continue to use BUT

Love Zoom and will continue to use BUT they signed me up for and charged my credit card for an annual plan when I believe that I only signed up for a monthly plan which I would cancel once my quarterly large family call was completed Not a real problem since I should have noticed charge sooner than five weeks after the fact Still okay until I tried to correct the mistake Very difficult to even find a phone number to get a credit Phone response system is poor and agent Jane almost assuredly not her real name was nice but not very competent and discounted me after 30 minutes All proving that NOTHING IS SIMPLE

Need to make closed captioning more accessible

I use Zoom for the majority of my online meetings The feature that really frustrated me is that it is difficult to get Closed Captioning The meeting host has to elect to use it before the sessions begins so if you join in later and ask for them they can t just be turned on This is well behind the tech of Microsoft Teams which just allows the user to toggle them on personally

The product is OK

Trapped our company in a contract that was signed based on false information provided by their very money-hungry sales team Now ignoring calls and emails to request a termination fee We have never used the system and it is not fit for purpose They voided a contract that had an error on it but now insist no one at zoom has the power to cancel the contract very frustrating and is also damaging to our business every day that they drag it out Dispite the frustration about their customer service the product has turned out to be OK a phone system that is reliable

Good Service - Poor support

Zoom does a great job on meetings Their webinar feature is good as well The problem is 1 Terrible customer support and 2 their sales people are out of touch with your needs and offer no help Their sales person sends me unsolicited docuSign contracts soliciting a legal obligation for a year The price for a signed contract is HIGHER than the price for signing up on line The Zoom sales dept does not answer questions or provide any support I tried to enroll in their phone service and no-one calls back They simply want money Zooms sales department is in competition with their on line sign-up option and they are greedy Tech Support is terrible have written them with questions MANY Times and they do not reply

Zoom has been criticized for its security practices In April 2020 it was revealed that Zoom meetings could be easily infiltrated by hackers Zoom also came under fire for storing user data on US servers which could be accessed by the US government

Still holding on but not for a long time I think

Zoom is okay but it really lacks some functionality Compared to some of the competitors like Google for example zoom has worse video quality and its infamous 40 minute calls on free accounts Sometimes it is so annoying I don t know about the premium users but here
