Better One Day Mortgage - 3-minute preapproval but ghosted before closing

Used this online lender's One Day Mortgage after NerdWallet's 4.0 review noted 24-hour underwriting and 3-minute preapproval. Application was fully digital, got preapproved online in minutes and liked the transparent rate tool updated several times daily. They fund $100B via an AI platform. Friction came near closing - my coordinator went silent for days, asked twice for the same insurance proof, and the rate lock shifted once requiring a VP to fix. Closed in 32 days, not One Day, but rate was competitive and Better Cover found insurance quickly.
