Useful weather alerts buried in promo spam

I signed up to EmergencyEmail for severe weather alerts for my county, and to be fair the actual emergency notifications did arrive promptly during two storm events. The problem is everything else: the service bundles in a relentless stream of promotional emails and sponsored 'alerts' that are basically advertising, making it easy to miss real warnings among the noise. Unsubscribing from marketing while keeping weather alerts proved confusing. Useful core idea, cluttered execution.
