US Bank - branch access nationwide but app fees add up

Opened a checking account at this top-5 US bank for nationwide ATM coverage - branches in 26 states and fee-free ATMs at 4,700 locations. App handles mobile deposit and Zelle well, and my debit arrived in 5 days. Monthly maintenance is $6.95 unless you keep $1500 daily, and overdraft is $36. Good for in-branch service, but fintechs beat it on fees if you don't need cash deposits.

Used this classifieds site to sell furniture during a house move and found it functional for that purpose. Listings post free and my sofa sold within four days to a genuine buyer, communication through the platform worked fine. Caveats worth knowing: response spam is real, expect repeated messages from dealers lowballing minutes after posting, and several categories carry obviously misleading ads so browse with healthy scepticism. No payment integration means arranging everything yourself, which cuts both ways. Decent free alternative to paid listing sites if you stay alert.
